Pritam Veg Delight — Restaurant in Mumbai

Very bad experience. This place used to be good. The quality of food and servoce has gone terribly down. The owner as well as the waiters are rude. Called and asked if they have dine in and if there is a table available for 4 in the AC section. They told yes. (We have always sat in the AC section, whenever we have been to this place). When we arrived at the restaurant, the manager said the AC section is full as they got a reservation for 60 people. And we were forced to sit in the non AC section. When we checked the AC section we could see one table vacant but they didnt allow us to sit there. We sat in the non AC secrion, the entire time we were there we didnt even see 2 people entering the AC section, forget 60! The non AC section was not busy at all only 3 tables were occupied. Yet the server and the waiter took long to take our order, constantly ignored us. The manager kept giving us grumpy looks. The server literally smashed the menu card in front of us. While serving he served the food as if he is doing a favour on us by serving us. We ordered Punjabi Thali, Manchow soup, Veg crispy, Tandoori rotis, Veg chilli milli, and Masala chaas. Somehow I feel the place is jinxed. There have been multiple restaurants opened in the same place as far as I remember, hut none could really make a mark. I would have loved to give it a higher rating given the efforts shown at least by the owner who personally attended us as well as the simple but still elegant decor that came with the renovation. However a weekend and yet no crowd itself speaks volumes about the food quality. While it's not really pathetic but somehow it's not worth rating higher either. There is a lot of items mentioned in the menu which you can see from my pictures, butbibwiuld have loved lesser but quality and tasty items at least. The PavBhaji that my wife had was really ordinary and even roadside stalls provide much better stuff at lesser price.

I just hope the management takes it constructively and focusses on key items rather than just building a database of exotic sounding dishes and not delivering to the promises.

PS: You still can support them and visit once which will atleast help them focus on the quality...

I recently had a disappointing experience at a restaurant that I had high hopes for. The food was simply the worst I've ever tasted. I ordered a paper dosa dish that was overcooked and lacked flavor, while my friend's coffee was cold and dry. It felt like the kitchen didn't care about the quality of the food they were serving.

To make matters worse, the staff seemed unprofessional. Instead of providing good service, they were staring at us in a way that made us uncomfortable. It felt like we were being judged rather than welcomed, which added to the overall negative atmosphere.

I left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that offer much better food...
