Soo talking about this outlet itself is a speciality outlet for Malvani cuisine. And being a big fan of Malvani cuisine itself I was way too excited to visit here and try there food as one of my friend suggested this restaurant to me . Location :- So this restaurant is based in one of the prime location and it's very close from a renowned " SIDDHIVINAYAK TEMPLE" itself. SERVICE:- So Talking about the service was quite decent as the food prepared here is all fresh and being a chef we know fresh food needs take to get Cooked properly. Ambience :- I can say the RESTUARANT is quite small and but worth visiting. If your a big fan of seafood itself yes this is the place which is must recommended for you. What we ordered ? APPETIZERS:-

Hidden Gem Alert!!! Seafood Lovers…
Sarangaa a small cozy restaurant tucked in one of the corner of prabhadevi – Dadar. It is located at distance of 5 mins walk from Vijay Sales. I came across this restaurant through Instagram where one of my foodie friend Archita Baiju had posted a pic of Surmai Thali. Seafood craving brought me to sarangaa along with two of my all-time buddies. Sarangaa a is total value for money restaurant serving authentic Maharashtrian & Malvani flavours in starters, mains & desserts toooo...If I talk about the ambience it is pretty Simple but when there is a treasure of seafood served in front of you why would you look around isn’t it…? They do offer home delivery as well so if you have a gang of friends at home and want to host a party then Sarangaa is just a one call away from you. Place is quite small so don’t bring a dozen of people along with you as it might get congested. Service is quick by them but it might take a while for your dish to be ready but trust me it’s worth a wait. So we ordered the below mentioned items..
Food:
1 Bangda Thali – Comprises of a crunchy and crispy fresh Bangda rawa fry, Bangda Curry, Sol Kadhi, raita, coconut chutney, dried shrimps, rice bhakri, and rice. Well with the price mentioned for it I’m all over it…what else you want…after having the entire thali alone I was like next breakfast humse nah ho payega…
2 Saoji Chicken – Well I heard this name for the first time then my maharashtrian friend explained me about its origin which is from Nagpur. Damn first bite of it was spicy as hell the way it is meant to be no complains here. Chicken was properly cooked and marinated. Went well with rice bhakri.
3 Chicken Sukka Thali – Comprises of Chicken sukka, Chicken Curry, Sol Kadhi, raita, coconut chutney, wade and rice. Well my friend was hesitant to go for fish thali so he went up for chicken. Neverthless it gave us a variety of options for the dinner to feast on.

Read moreA good new place which can serve you some amazing yummmyy food , coastal food , Konkan food . It's very hard to find such a place in Mumbai and this place is near Siddhivinayak mandir easy to spot too. The place has a small ambience but smartly managed , it's a small place with 3-4 tables but seriously at times you get good food in such places the place is neat and clean.
The food we had , the staff everyrhing was on point . I really love the way they tried to maintain the authenticity and the authentic taste of coastal food , the fish thali the chicken thali everyrhing had a yummy fullfilin taste .
Chicken Malavan thali consisted of Sol kadhi , sliced onions with curd sweet in taste , dried masala , Chutney green ( made from pudhina , coriander and Chillies, Chicken gravy , chicken gravy and chicken pieces which were soft and properly cooked along with Kombadi vade which is really delicious. The taste of Vade and chicken gravy is still on my mind , I have tried the same in Malvan and the taste had somuch in similar like I really loved that they are exact match to the food in Malvan and they serve authentic coastal food .
Fish thali was also yummmyy and the gravy can be a lil better , but the fried fish , the sukha machi which was small baby prawns dried along with onion were really tasty .The rice bhakari did go well with the gravy of fish as well as with the gravy of chicken we did try that .The Sol kadhi was also mouthwatering and the fried POMFRET was a treat to eyes .
I would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to try Coastal food in Mumbai . This place is the best place for not just sea food lovers but also there are options of chicken and mutton for non vegetarian lovers .
