Sweet County Borivali — Restaurant in Mumbai

We've been ordering cakes from them for almost every occasion at our home be it birthday's or anniversaries. The taste has been good so far until recently where we had issues with our order and that kind of ruined the customer experience for us. We purchased their KitKat cake for a birthday celebration and when we cut it during the celebration, we felt a very odd taste.. it didn't feel like it was a fresh cake as they claimed it to be. The next morning, the first thing we did was called them and informed them about this and we were told to get the cake to them and they'll see what can be done, we did so. Upon reaching, they checked the cake and told us that since half of the cake was consumed they couldn't refund but would replace it with a PASTRY (we paid ₹500 for it, but they wanted to give us a PASTRY as a compensation), mind you, the cake wasn't consumed, we had to throw half of it when we distributed it during the celebration due to the odd taste and risk of causing any health complications. They initially denied and told they couldn't do anything about it and upon explaining them about how often we buy from them and how unfair it would be to compensate with a pastry for a cake, they agreed to give us a fresh cake. An odd experience but they did agree to give us a fresh cake. Hope they do something about this experience I've had so no one else...

Very unprofessional team and poor cake delivery even after placing a preorder in advance. Ordered a Death by Chocolate 1 kg cake worth Rs.2000/- for a birthday celebrant as a surprise. We had 16 guests including 2 kids. The cake was a surprise and we picked it up at 8pm and opened the box at 11pm after dinner service. We expected it to be an excellent desert and to our surprise the cake was not freshly prepared, dry and shredded into pieces when attempted to cut the cake. We could not share the cake into slices at all. This was a super embarrassing moment for us as everyone on the table stated that it looked like a stale cake prepared one day prior or early in the morning. When reported the shop claimed that we should have brought the cake to the shop as a proof as they could not belive our feedback. At 1130pm how could one leave a dinner table of 16 guests to show the shop that the cake was poorly prepared or stale. We are not expecting any refunds or compensation for this but would like the general public to please open and check your delivery in the shop to avoid any embarrassment like what we faced. This shop is now out of our friends and family...

Delivery Horrible Experience!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a rotating cake from them for our twins first birthday party. First the cake was supposed to be delivered at 11.45 am however as it didn’t reach to ur venue on enquiry we got to know the cake was damaged in transport after correcting the cake it finally reached to us at 1.30pm. The plp who came to setup were clueless about the setup n the fondant teddy bear was falling down At last we cldnt start the rotating mechanism of the cake as it was placed slanted n starting the rotation the cake would have fallen down .ABC blocks in the cake was even not written n placed properly 😢 This event ruined our bday party as the lunch was delayed due to the whole cake episode 😢 They charged me bomb for this rotating cake n the end product that they delivered was so disappointing I request everyone to think 100 times before ordering these kind of...
