Good rooms, but pathetic customer service.
On the positive side, I found the rooms relatively quiet given the location, the AC worked well, rooms seemed to be cleaned well and I received prompt room service at breakfast. However, there were a lot of things that left a very bad impression in my mind.
The rooms themselves are pretty small, compared to other similarly priced hotels in the area. I spent a few days in one of them in Yoginagar and the rooms and service were far superior. The bathrooms did not have any AC. This was tolerable for this time of the year, but will be hell in the summer. Once again, the other hotels are better in this respect. The rooms have very few power outlets, I think the only outlet with universal plugs was in the bathroom. The TV service was abysmal. The channel lineup included only a handful of news and regional entertainment. Perhaps you just don’t expect the guests to spend any time in the room. Once again, this compares poorly to similar hotels in the area. The cable bill apparently was not paid since the service discontinued mid stay (TV displayed a message indicating payment must be made to restore service) and was restored after several days and multiple complaints at the front desk. The cabinet in the bedroom did not have any handle. If this sounds hilarious, it is because it actually is hilarious. My first stay was four days and I reported this when I checked out. I got the same room for my second stay and when I checked in the cabinet still had no handle. I complained twice and they eventually sent someone to fix a handle. There is no staff to help the guests with bags. On top of this, the elevator does not stop at the lobby level so you have to carry bags up a short staircase to get to the elevator. I have never seen this at any hotel. I noticed that a number of guests had similar complaints. Every time I walked out of or into the hotel, there was some guest at the counter complaining about many of the same things I have written. The management just does not seem to care, the front desk staff seemed to try and do their best to address the customer complaints. The housekeeping staff seems poorly trained. On multiple nights, I found the bedsheets were simply not tucked under one side of the bed and got bunched up under me. I suspect they were not just the right size. The WiFi requires codes, which must be acquired from the front desk every evening. On multiple occasions when I stopped by on the way in to get the code, the agent on duty refused to write them down for me. He inquired how I intended to note them and suggested I should call him from the room so I could enter it on my device. Ironically, he had the codes in a grid on a sheet of paper and could have simply torn the appropriate piece to hand it to me. This just shows poor customer service. Every time I left the room even for a few hours, both the AC and the refrigerator shut off. I can understand the AC (although it consumes more energy to cool down a warmed up room than to keep a room cool), but the refrigerator is meant to keep food cool all the time.
My trip was late november to mid december. On returning to the US, I wrote this detailed review to the corporate office. I never received any response. That just confirmed my opinion of the customer service...

The hotel overall tries to cut a lot of costs in a very pathetic and poor manner... they provide just 1 towel for a room booked for 2, no dental kit provided unless asked for, the food we ordered was clearly instructed to bring us the soup first followed by the main course 15 mins later to avoid the main course turning cold. During the ordering, i had clearlh mentioned that i would be needing the Chinese sauces (soup accompaniments) along with salt and pepper to be given (i wanted it to be a bit extra spicy as i was having a bit of cold).
The soup and main course was ordered together, no sauces and with only spoons and no forks and with a single piece of tissue paper.
Upon calling the room service and asking them to send the sauces, forks and tissues, they called back about 5 times to reconfirm the same and instead of sauces, they sent chilli flakes and oregano sachets, thankfully with 3 more peices of tissues.
Food tasted okay at best.
The shower cubicle had luke warm water coming from the shower and the drainage was very slow. The cubicle used to flood and barely avoided flooding the entire bathroom.
Next day morning, we get a call at 11.25 am 'reminding' us about the checkout.
Overall, not a good stay considering the price paid. Would not recommend it to anyone.
