THE GHETTO — Restaurant in Mumbai

I had initially given this place a 5 Star rating. Been a regular at this bar for atleast 20 years if not more but unfortunately after last night's visit I have decided to change the rating. Horrible experience with the owner/ manager who was very unreasonable, rude, arrogant unhelpful with regards to the card payment I made just because there was an issue with his swipe machine.Even after showing him the sms received by my bank stating that the amount had been debited from my account to Ghetto Bar he refused to acknowledge it and kept asking me to pay again. I called my Bank customer care & they too acknowledged that the payment was made but our great host wouldn't. And this is not the first time this has happened, previously my sister too had faced a similar issue at Ghetto, before lockdown, they took the payment twice, promising they would return the amount if it there was a dual transaction. This place used to be better and in general a very laid back, relaxed place. Now it’s a place with really anxious and intrusive staff. The service is abysmal, can’t relax. Complained about the staff’s behaviour and nothing changed. Used to go here often in my college days, and have continued to take friends. In the recent few times, it has consistently been an embarrassing experience to bring friends, not able to enjoy a drink. The food is alright and the music is repetitive but decent, but this place has lost its charm; no wonder they barely have anyone in there. It’s a pain to have to leave a bad comment, and more so to leave this place...

This is a great place to visit with friends, the place is a bit dark with neon lights, there are 2 pool table to play,

The food is amazing and delicious, it is a small place so yeah it gets crowded,

The place opens at 7 pm, and staff entry is not allowed, require atleast 1 girl in the group for the entry.

They really played some cool music, most of them were my favourite songs. They were playing variety of English songs, but they mostly placed rock music.
