I have been through this lane quite a few times but never actually noticed this place until today. The restaurants on this lane have a small entrance so they are hard to notice if you are passing by but they are grand like this one. From the outside it appears that it can accommodate only a handful of people but when you step in you can see the actual picture. They have a lower outdoor seating, a lower indoor seating, an upper outdoor seating and an upper indoor seating.

The coziest and the most house-like feeling is the upper indoor seating - It is made like "The House" and has different types of tables. The lower outdoor seating is the most happening with a few high tables and nice cheerful music. Mosquitos can be a concern in the winter evenings but coils can be arranged. Our wait staff Nitesh was knowledgeable and Bartender - Anwar shaikh was good at his skills too.

Drinks/Beverages

We sat in the happening area by which I mean in the lower outdoor seating which made us order a cocktail and some mocktails. The cocktail was the kind of I like - With Bourbon Whisky. It is named as BOURBON HOUSE - it is a mixture of Jim Beam, Bacardi and Vodka. The beer glass with Jim Beam sticker looked amazing and the cocktail was even better. It was garnished with a slice of Orange and some leaves over it.

One of the mocktails we loved was THE HOUSE DELIGHT - According to them, they have it in different variety like Kiwi, Watermelon and some other options; we chose the KIWI based because Nitesh informed that it is the best of all and it actually turned out to be the best. It is a clear mocktail with in house mix with Kiwi as base with added soda, served in a Balloon glass. It had a proper not so sweet Kiwi taste. It is refreshing.

Food

Starters

To complement our cocktail, we ordered a dish to much upon. The all-time favorite and almost and the safest option - CHILLI CHEESE TOAST. It is just as expected and I am glad we ordered it. These were triangle bread toasted and topped with cheese, green chilli, onion and coriander (we requested to exclude tomato). It was crispy, spicy and cheesy at the same time and could be considered a perfect bar nibble.

The next dish is a perfect continental starter - GRILLED PANEER. We ordered this because The House is known for continental dishes. This is a perfect continental dish with Grilled paneer, mashed potato, Sauteed vegetables and Teriyaki sauce. I loved everything in here except the mashed potato as I am not a fan of potatoes. The dish is presented well, Paneer is soft and marinated well and the vegetables are boiled to perfection. Mains

The House has a different concept in terms of main course. They don't have main course listed in the menu but they have daily specials which they write on a black board along with price. Out of the ones listed today, we went with the NAPOLEON PASTA - This is more of a white sauce penne pasta with a cheesy white sauce, exotic veggies and my favorite pasta bread. I so crave for these breads. Most of the times I agree to order pasta is because of these breads.

The pasta was Insta-worthy and hence available on my Instagram page too. The breads were a little soft and different from other breads that I have had, but we liked it too. Other items ordered were Pinacolada, The fruit punch & Venkatesh chicken. The house is listed under Rooftops collection. It has a smoking area and Wi-Fi too.

Was looking for a place to dine and sip on some drinks near Versova , shortlisted many and finally dropped by this place as it got our attraction because of its themed decor.

📍This place is located Versova near rock beach.

Ambience - The house ~ as the name suggest this place has a themed decor of house having all the comfy corners with balcony and comfy sofas just exactly the normal house is. Loved the bar setup as it is minimalistic yet elegant. Food - An absolute gastronomical experience is something you will have over here, loved the spread of f&b menu here as it’s simply amazing. Hygiene- The premises throughout the place is well maintained when it comes to hygiene and cleanliness. Value for money- The house really serves food and beverages at super pocket friendly rates. Do visit it will be surely worth it. Our order - R: denotes Recommendations.

•DRINKS: 1)Jim beam bourbon(R)- A fantastic cocktail. As the name suggest it had Jim bear bourbon whiskey with dash of lime juice and bit of club soda to it. Loved this drink as it’s perfect to sip on this winters. 2)Fruit punch(R)- Honestly, well made by the mixologist. Normal fruit punch usually has lot of milk at times but this one was on a refreshing side as it had fresh juices in it. 3)Fresh fruit mojito- Basil and lime muddled along with fresh fruits later strained and topped with sprite was again a refresher. 4)The house delight(R)- An Absolute delight. Loved the concoction of watermelon chunks , lime and mint topped with soda and sprite. Perfectly sweetened and great flavor drink to have.

•APPETIZERS: 1)Butter Garlic prawns(R)- 7-8 pieces of prawns tossed in butter garlic sauce having rich texture and aromatic blend of garlic was indeed lovely. 2)Chicken shish taouk(R)- The best and iconic Mediterranean appetizer made well with perfection of spices on it was superb. 3)Chicken Cafreal- Chicken tenders having layer of melted cheese on top served in good portion was a good one too. •MAIN COURSE: 1)Grilled chicken(R)- two pieces of grilled chicken breast which was pretty huge having superb texture served along mashed potato , sautéed veggies and sauce was the best thing we had here. Loved the fact that it was priced perfectly. 2)Red Thai curry- Coconut based red curry which was super thick and had bit sweet taste served along steamed rice. The perfect one if you are looking for soothing to your tummy.

FOOD VIRGIN MOJITO I had tried many of virgin Mojito but this one is best one I have ever came across. Taste was satisfactory. Presentation was remarkable . FRUIT PUNCH This fruit punch is a real deal, sweet , super fruity and guarantee to be guzzled by everyone. It's a perfect punch that everyone can enjoy. THE HOUSE DELIGHT My all time favorite, delicious drink which presentation is mind-blowing and Taste wise it's awesome has it got their own different flavor. BUTTER GARLIC PRAWNS This is full packed with flavors and then served in your table. This succulent prawns tossed in garlic and butter is most amazing combination I ever had. CHICKEN CAFREAL Perfectly cooked amazing green Goan chicken, gets it green color because of the herbs and flavors they have. TOMATO SAUCE CHICKEN PASTA This penne pasta will simply bring the Italian flavors to your table,the chicken pieces are added generously and sauce is tangy and yummy CHICKEN SAUSAGE PIZZA Full of toppings which is worth drooling and has a tasty pizza flavors which will surely make you drool. It's each piece will fill your stomach.

SERVICE But talking about staff they are friendly and helps you to maintained your patience. Gentle in speaking, courteous and helping knows their job perfectly whereas qualified in their field handles the work promptly.
