Xero Degrees — Restaurant in Mumbai

Having already tried the Xero Degrees chain outside Mumbai and seeing that they had an offer running, we thought of visiting the cafe. However, the experience was not actually a pleasant one.

Since it was an offer day, there was a huge queue to enter inside, and we had to stand for almost 40 minutes just for a chance to enter the cafe. Under the offer, we ordered 2 cheese corn pizzas and one cheesy fries, which were for INR 99 each. The cheese corn pizza was almost a thin crust and 6-inch diameter. However, corn could hardly be seen on the pizza as a topping. Though the cheese layering seemed reasonable at the outer edges, the pizza base had become exceptionally tough, making it brittle.

As per the name, the cheesy fries did have cheese, but just on the top. And since the fries were served in a glass instead of a plate, the cheese did not reach them at the bottom, leaving them plain. Though the fries were delicious and perfectly crisp, having the cheese sauce reach each of the fries would have made the taste even better.

Lastly, we ordered the Baked Cheesy Nachos. And this was a big mistake. First, it took them about half an hour to prepare and bring the same. Second, the veggies and the cheese sauce were just on the top. Below the layering, all the Nachos at the bottom were simply crushed, which was why we had to have them with a spoon. The nachos they use are Doritos with spices, which makes the combination taste bad. We had to put a lot of effort into finishing the dish.

However, except for food, service was an issue, too. The cafe is running with issuing a bill without GST. There are no credit card payments available, and the reason given was that this is a new cafe, and all of this is a work in progress. Thus, the food here is average, and the experience needs to be improved significantly to bring it to par with other top-notch outlets...

Xero Degrees in Versova is an absolute gem! The ambiance is wonderfully aesthetic, making it the perfect spot to relax with friends and family and soak in the vibes. They even have games to keep everyone entertained and offer a great venue for birthday celebrations.

The drinks we had were exceptional: the passion fruit cooler, strawberry Oreo cheesecake shake, and choco brownie freakshake were all delightful and refreshing. The food was equally impressive; the peri peri cheesy fries were incredibly tasty and melted in the mouth. The Xero chicken sandwich was perfect, bursting with flavor, and the hot and spicy chicken strips with dips were downright mouthwatering. The presentation of the Mexican nachos was commendable, and the arrabita pasta was cooked to perfection.

We couldn't leave without trying dessert, and the blueberry waffle was simply divine, leaving us craving more. Overall, Xero Degrees offers not just great food and drinks, but a fantastic atmosphere where every detail is crafted for a memorable experience.
