I recently visited The Nest in Bandra West during the evening, and it exceeded my expectations. There was no wait, and valet service was available. I recommend parking away from the bustling Hill Road as the restaurant is right in front of the Marks and Spencer showroom.
The ambiance at The Nest is an aesthetic delight, with the perfect amount of light, making it highly Instagrammable. Despite being a Friday evening, the crowd was manageable, and we had the option to choose between indoor and outdoor seating.
We started our culinary journey with the Korean Garlic Bread, a local sensation in Mumbai. The crunch and crisp combined with the creamy gooey cheese left us wishing for larger portions. The Paneer Steak, accompanied by a mound of fried rice, roasted veggies, and cheese sauce, was a delightful surprise, surpassing similar dishes I've tried in local Bandra favorites.
For the main course, we indulged in the Alfredo Ravioli, which had a filling of cheese and spinach, providing an authentic taste. The meal concluded with a French Vanilla Latte and Nutella Milkshake, both perfectly balanced in sweetness.
Throughout our dining experience, the service was commendable, and the food was sumptuous. The Nest in Bandra West is undoubtedly a gem for those seeking a delightful culinary experience in a...
Read moreA Well-Designed Space, but Not for Non-Smokers
The ambience of the restaurant is pleasant, with indoor and outdoor seating options. Located on the first floor, access is through a narrow staircase, but valet parking is available at the entrance. We chose to sit indoors and indoor hookah was permitted. With multiple tables smoking hookah, the air became heavy, making it uncomfortable to stay for long. Since it seemed like a common practice, we didn’t raise it with the staff. This restaurant is ideal for those who enjoy hookah, but not for non-smokers. On the positive side, the interiors are well-designed, offering spacious seating and a relaxed vibe. The music volume was balanced, allowing for conversation while enjoying the atmosphere. Service was prompt, hygiene standards were well maintained, and the washrooms were clean.
The food was good, and the staff was attentive. The place had a decent crowd, though not particularly upscale.
Recommended for hookah enthusiasts Not ideal for those sensitive to smoke Would I return? Only if they introduce a dedicated...
Read moreVisited this cafe in bandra based on the reviews but my experience was the total opposite. An item from our table was cleared without asking us as i will explain below. The staff were courteous enough but the time it took from order to get served was too much especially given that we were the only customers in the restaurant. It took 45 minutes for the first food order to come in . Coffee was served much quicker. I ordered the orange zest mocha and cold frappe. Both items were good. But since our food wasn’t coming we left a quarter of the cold frappe to have it with our food. The staff cleared it from the table without asking while i was busy on my phone and realised they had taken it away. Not sure what the rush was to clear the table since the entire restaurant was empty. The food items were also quite good but because they arrived so much later than the beverages it was really disappointing. Overall for that price and location i expected them to have parking and atleast ask the customer before...
