My recent visit to Trattoria left me absolutely speechless! This charming Italian restaurant has undoubtedly raised the bar for exceptional dining experiences.
From the moment I stepped into Trattoria, I was greeted with an atmosphere that exuded warmth and authenticity. However, what truly elevated my evening was the impeccable service provided by Mr. Sahil. His genuine enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the menu were truly impressive, making me feel like a cherished guest from start to finish.
I embarked on a culinary journey that was nothing short of extraordinary. Mr. Sahil's recommendations were a testament to his expertise, and each dish was a masterpiece in its own right.
The grapefruit salad was a burst of vibrant flavors that awakened my taste buds in the most delightful way possible. The combination of textures and tastes was a true delight, and it was evident that every ingredient was carefully selected to create a harmonious symphony on the plate.
The onion and chili flake pizza took me by surprise with its bold yet perfectly balanced flavors. The thin crust was a canvas for the tantalizing dance of sweet onions and a hint of heat from the chili flakes. It was a culinary adventure I won't soon forget.
To conclude my feast, I indulged in the mud cake and ice cream dessert, which was a true indulgence for the senses. The rich, velvety mud cake paired with the velour-like ice cream was an absolute triumph, leaving me with a satisfied and content smile.
Mr. Sahil's service was truly the icing on the cake during this dining experience. His friendly demeanor and genuine passion for ensuring my comfort and enjoyment were palpable throughout the evening.
Trattoria is a hidden treasure that deserves all the praise it receives. The combination of exceptional dishes, a cozy ambiance, and Mr. Sahil's exceptional service make it a must-visit for any food enthusiast. I wholeheartedly recommend Trattoria to anyone in search of an unforgettable culinary adventure that is sure to leave a lasting...
ย ย ย Read moreWe started off with the complimentary bread basket which was loaded well with bread sticks, buns and a side of butter. It sat as a pretty good accompaniment throughout the meal and the breads were baked to the utmost perfection.
Caesar Salad was the first thing that we tried. Layers of green veggies, lettuce, kale, arugula and many more were drizzled with creamy mayonnaise and the beauty of the parmesan along with the juiciness of the each one of it just blended perfectly. The occasional bits of broccoli were a treat indeed. We loved this one totally.
The Bruschetta was basic and simple but the pesto and tomato balance was just perfect. The cheese gave it an ounce of flavor and it was pretty good. The Margharita Pizza was crispy and tangy with hints of basil here and there but it could have been better. The base was slightly thick for a thin crust pizza.
One another dish that we enjoyed here was the Spinach and ricotta malfatti. These were juicy and luscious dumplings filled with shredded spinach and ricotta. They were delicious with the tomato gravy which was tangy as well as balanced perfectly.
Our meal ended with the most beautiful desserts that we have come across. The Tiramisu was huge and the best we have ever had. The flavor of coffee was perfect and each and every element was well balanced. The tiny chocolate chips in between were perfect for the bites that they were and added a wonderful flavor to them. It was indeed, the best we have had.
The Three layered chocolate mousse was another spectacular dessert. Layers of dark, milk and white chocolate balanced with a dash of raspberry puree were just a perfect blend of indulgence with subtle pop-ups of the tartness. It was blissful.
It was a resplendent lunch with a classy ambience. There were a few hits and misses,as also the slightly heavy on the pocket part, but it was a place we truly enjoyed thoroughly.
Ambience: 4/5 Taste Quotient:...
ย ย ย Read moreTrattoria - what do i say about this place. Used to be one of the best. Last night we had been there. Disappointed. "HYPED" Overpriced. Their signature dishes went for a toss. Looks like the management has taken for granted what they serve turns good. No chance.
They placed a small basket of bread with butter - after a while the butter was gone. Coming to the breads - dry and flaky.
Nothing was traditional about the Minestrone soup - Presentation was bad. Looked dirty and messy. It's like going to a south Indian restaurant and served Sambhar with stains all over the cup. Grow up. Where is the art? It's just like it's been poured in the Cup and served on the table. Missed the Parmesan. Overall not worth the price (525/++) Even lacked the authenticity which we used to get earlier.
Salad was one dish which was a good - a mix of Rucola (fresh) Loved the caramelised walnuts (gave that sweet/crunchy feel) Pine nuts/cherry tomatoes/ parmesan shavings. Dressed well with Balsamic. Good balance. Had the Punch.
Pizza - Now this place was and is known for its Pizzas. My personal view - PATHETIC, It's all about the crust. It was Dry/Flaky. Guys get your act right. You should be making a perfect dough/crust with closed eyes middle of the night - and it went for a toss. Missing the Glaze and sheen. Asked for Margarita with Jalapeรฑo/Onions. Tomato sauce was good. Jalapenos' not evenly placed. One slice had 5/6 and the other Just 1/2. Again this is basics. Having a tag of one of the best Italian restaurants - if one can't get the basics correct - disappointing.
Skipped the desserts.
Being Loyal to Trattoria will be back for sure. I hope this feedback does not go to deaf ears. Till we meet...
