Project 88 — Attraction in Mumbai

Project88 was our last venue for ArtNightThursday and I was very inspired and impressed with the current exhibit Munem Wasif who captured life through street photography (almost on-going since decades)

We also saw a short film which had some stills from his photography about a man who was obsessed with smells. He had captured life in Dhaka very intricately, one must definitely visit for inspiration and creativity.

It was a nice experience.. they even have people to walk you through the artists work.. we had a cool time.. this was mukherjee's work at display! Loved the space as it has its own architectural element as well.. to walk in you have a step down.. the entry doors were Uber nice! Shout out to gallery holders! They call it 88 as they wanted some roots of Calcutta...

Quiet and easy to navigate. The echoes of time was on display when I visited which was very interesting and thoughtfully placed.

Would like to visit the gallery when there is another exhibition too as during this one the lights were only focused on the work and did not light up the space like galleries...
