Sizzling China — Restaurant in Mumbai

Visited here on a Sunday afternoon after a rehearsal at NCPA and I was famished. I was not eager to have Chinese that day but my friend had sold this restaurant to me so much that I had to get in. Believe me I dont get impressed by Chinese restaurant easily but this place blew my mind! Just as I enter it felt perfect, very quiet it had a homely ambiance. Greeted by a very informative staff and helped us by suggesting in terms of taste and quantity too. Ordered, Dragon Chicken and Chicken Hot Pot Rice. Was amazed by the quantity of the rice easily can feed three people. Before you order make sure you inquire about the quantity, its more than expected. I have already planned to visit this place having much time in my hand.

There is always a que to dine in at sizzling china. I wondered why there is soo many people always in the waiting. Now I know the reason that why there is always a que.

I ordered Fire rice which was recommended by my family and friends Tai pai chicken (it is spicy) 🌶 and Manchow soup. These were the three things which I ordered and the taste was awesome.

Unlike other ordinary basic Chinese food this restaurant’s food had a flavour and a unique smell and taste that was definitely because of the sauces they use. The ambience is good for family For beverages i ordered 2 fresh lime soda sweet which were also very good comparatively.

I had a concerning and frustrating experience at sizzling China recently. I specifically mentioned my allergies to the staff when ordering, but unfortunately, the dish I received contained ingredients I’m allergic to. It’s incredibly disappointing when basic allergy precautions aren’t taken seriously, especially when your health is on the line.

The staff seemed unaware of the seriousness of food allergies, and I had to deal with the situation myself, which added unnecessary stress to my meal. It's crucial for restaurants to ensure they follow proper protocols to avoid allergic reactions and to prioritize customer safety.
