It was my sister's birthday. It is very rare that we have family lunch together outside because my parents usually do not like much meals that is served in restaurant. After some research we settled down with Pind Balluchi considering all its review. Nehru place was the nearest location for us. We took our parents there and delhites might understand in today's weather condition we cannot sit for 1 minute without fan. They purposefully turned off AC and made us sit in that harsh weather. We had made prior booking there. Even if it was rest time for them or whatever, they could have informed us about their booking timings so that we could have looked for some other alternative. We ignored this service and decided to enjoy the day anyhow as it was not possible to look for other restaurants with our parents preferred meal. They did not even serve us water. On asking they gave bottle worth ₹100 that too 750ml. I would advise you to bring your own water there. They are too lazy to serve you properly. Food was all good. Washroom was also not at all clean. That was our first experience there and sadly I would never visit Pind Balluchi, atleast not the Nehru Place one ever again. Check the bill twice as they will charge for the bottles irrespective of the fact you are...
Read moreVery poor service... We were having family lunch and they only had 1 staff... Though there were 3 available near the counter.... Every time we called them for something, they ignored and gave a cold shoulder... Later they come, doesn't even bother to hear the customers properly. There was a person in the billing section who was taking our orders and when we were asking something from him, he was not responding or was getting irritated. If this is how the customers are being treated, I will never ever recommend anynody to go there.
Moreover, the food was good, but we ordered aaloo pyaz paratha and they forgot put salt...however it was changed, yet had to call the staff so many times for this mistake which was made by them.
I don't know why, but they switched off the AC in this summer, we were all sweating while eating the food.... We had an occasion and we couldn't even enjoy properly... The only good thing was the ambience and the taste...
Also, don't get fooled by them, they will offer you a bottle instead of regular water...... I am seeing a very first restaurant where they don't give the regular water jugs to customers....... They only give it when you ask, but you have to ask multiple times to get that 1 glass...
Read moreAll show but no quality. Went to this place with family, and I don't think any of us will ever go back there willingly. The price is high, the ambience is unnecessarily showy but the food is average at best. The food is definitely not worth the price premium they charge. Service of the waiters was mediocre at best, nothing extraordinary or friendly as such, they almost seemed bored. Ordered Murgh Makhani and Shahi Paneer, both fairly common dishes, something you'd expect a Punjabi restaurant to be an expert at making. Gotta say, we were more than disappointed. The gravy was almost the exact same for both didhes and was extremely salty when eaten without any bread(roti), and still tasted sweet with bread somehow. The one good thing was that the chicken itself was pretty soft and juicy, the only part of the whole meal that actually met expectations. Cleanliness wasn't particularly impressive inside the washroom, I've seen cheaper places with significantly cleaner washrooms. All-in-all, the three star rating is a very lenient one, and I would actually not recommend going to this place unless you like a salt overdose that puts a gaping hole in...
