I think all the guys at the cash counter skipped their school, they don't know how to talk to their customer. He looks like 60+ and no further chance of self improvement. I often used to have my lunch there, many times pos machine get stuck, I never reacted. 2 times that person at cash counter erroneously added someone's order in my bill and also they charged from my card, still not reacted, he gave me coins in return of my card payment, that was ok as we human sometimes make mistakes. But today when I was trying to make my payment and told that person "take this card and just tap", he wasn't attentive, he given me pos to put my pin there, I enter my pin, I didn't know what actually happened, there was an error. He was taking too long and I asked "what happened?", He rudely said "kya kiye ho, ye dekho yahan kya aa rha. I said "maine aapko tap krne ko kaha tha", he replied "kya tap tap kar rha hai". Read moreA Reliable Gem in Nehru Place: Sona Sweets
Sona Sweets in Nehru Place has become a regular haunt for me. It's a great spot for a satisfying and delicious vegetarian meal, especially if you're looking for classic North Indian fare.
Here's what I love about Sona Sweets:
Must-Try Dishes: Their Dahi Ke Kababs are a true star! They're always crispy on the outside and perfectly creamy on the inside. I also can't resist their parathas, both the Aloo and Gobi fillings are delicious and pair perfectly with the cool Lassi. These are definitely my go-to choices, but I'm sure there are many other hidden gems on the menu waiting to be explored. Consistent Quality: Every time I've visited Sona Sweets, the food has been consistently good. You know you can rely on them for a solid and tasty meal. Overall Experience: The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, perfect for a quick lunch break or a more leisurely dinner with friends. The service is friendly and efficient.
While I wouldn't say it's the most exceptional place in Delhi, Sona Sweets definitely delivers on its promises. It's a reliable and affordable option for good vegetarian food, especially if you're craving those Dahi Ke Kababs and...
Read moreVery house full restaurant. Food was bit expensive but taste, service, cleanliness was amazing. Loved it. Best Restaurant in Nehru Place. A very good taste of everything that they serve with Hygiene & Cleanliness. A very crowdy place located in the busy market of Nehru Place. Its hard to get a place to sit in Sona sweets especially during lunch time. Different varieties and good quality of vegetarian food. A very good range of sweets and snacks are available with proper lunch options. One of the main attraction of nehru place market, must try are the chole bhature , jalebi and kachori. A bit expensive so Dine after checking the prices.
Good taste, better than the rest in this market. Over priced - since covid 19 lockdown prices have gone up upto 30% even when cost of raw material is more or less the same as it was before the covid 19 lockdown. Seating area need major improvement - what's the point of paying so much money if you can't even have basic comfort? Hygiene - their South Indian cooking area is not nearly as hygienic as the rest of the place. Taxes - these guys usually keep the invoices with themselves instead of returning it to the customer after...
