Hell yeah!! The Irish House has finally made it's way to Delhi and I was super thrilled. I have heard a lot about this place from my friends living in Pune. So when I came to know it's coming to the capital I couldn't wait to try this place!
First of all. The AMBIANCE is so engrossing. Too much vintage and classy vibes going around. Totally loved it. Especially the WALL ART at the entrance.
Let's talk about the food and drink now.
Starting with beverages.. INVERTED BIRD BEER COCKTAIL- This beer was surely one of its kind. The beer bottle was inverted onto the mug and tasted pretty good! Really liked the concept.
IRISH COFFEE I had the coffee without alcohol. Again the way of presenting was on point. Coffee was immensely strong and more on the bittery side. I kinda liked it for that!
TANGERINE MOJITO Mojitos are always a safe option to go about. This one was very refreshing and succulent. A Nice one!
CHOCOLATE AND PEANUT BUTTER SHAKE All the peanut butter lovers should definitely check this out. Thick and yummm!
ARMAGH MUSHROOM BITES (Appetizer) These are cute little buns stuffed with creamy mushrooms and taste delicious. Loved it to bits!
BEETROOT AND GOAT CHEESE SLIDERS ( Appetizer) Although I do not have much taste for goat cheese but the dish seemed quite enticing and I thought of giving it a shot. They were mini charcoal buns stuffed with beetroot and goat cheese patty. Served with blue potato chips which were quite crispy. The dish was decent in taste.
THE MELTING POT (MAINS) Full marks for the presentation here. OMG ! This dish will blow your mind away with its concept of fondue! I had it with jalapèno fondue and totally liked it. It comes in a huge plate with variety of veggies. The quantity is so fulfilling. A MUST TRY!
PERI PERI AND COTTAGE CHEESE BOWL (MAINS) This dish is for all the paneer and mushroom fanatics! With two huge chunks of paneer the dish itself becomes quite lavish. A great option again!
NUTTY CARAMEL PIE Since there were just a handful of eggless desserts I decided to have this one. This is amazeballs like for real. RECCOMENDED! Also it would be great if more eggless options are added to the menu.
The SERVICE is prompt and quick. The STAFF is very courteous. I was served by MANISH and his services were very cordial and courteous.
To sum it up, my experience was truly fantastic! Coming back soon!!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...
Read moreThe Irish House. A place which has been a pub to many teenagers since years. A perfect place to have drinks and enjoy a gala time. But, we would be the first one who went their not have drinks but to have food. Why is this? This is because the Irish House just launched a set lunch menu which operates from 1 pm- 4pm. This menu consists of mocktaiks, sides, appetizers, mains and dessert. So a five course meal. And it costs only 499 bucks. What else would someone need in order to get stuffed with good food. Taking about the ambience, a very soothing ambience but we opt to sit outside in the so called balcony. The weather was in our favour.Comimg to the service part, the staff was quite mannered and helped us in choosing the right dish for our lunch. Splendid service. We had ice tea and mojitos which were quite refreshing. In sides we order fries and garlic bread, which were good in taste. Coming to the appetisers, we had chicken skewers and BBQ chicken sausages which was fully loaded with BBQ sauce. Skewers were not so good in taste as it lacked marination. Coming to the main course, we had a roasted chicken pizza and grilled basa fish which was served with risotto and sauteed vegetables. in desserts we had brownie and three layered choclate pastry. From start to bottom, everything was superb. But the only reason why we have 4 star is because if the skewers and sides. Besides, everything was good. Do visit this place for some mouthwatering offers on food and beverages and enjoy happy hours in the evening. Thanking you! Regards, Cravers of Taste (Chitra and Saharsh) Instagram ID:...

Located right under the Nehru Place metro station, this cozy little joint has a great vibe and beautiful ambiance. They even have a balcony zone outside where you can enjoy your food and drinks, and have a smoke while you're at it!
While the service can be a bit off-putting at times, and the food can be hit or miss, there are a few dishes that are worth trying. For all the fish lovers out there, their fish and chips are a must-try. And if you're a non-veg person, you should definitely check out their non-veg melting pot.
The best part? They have happy hours from 5-8 everyday, making it even more affordable! The beer is pretty cheap compared to other places in the area, and you can have a great time with your friends without worrying too much about your wallet.
Overall, The Irish House is a great place to visit for a fun and affordable weekend getaway with your friends. Just be prepared for some inconsistency in service and food quality. All in all, if you're looking for a lively and welcoming atmosphere, The Irish House is the perfect...
