Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in New Delhi

STRICT NO NO to this terrible place. Pathetic Staff & worst management. Thats the right word to define this place.

We went for a casual meeting and interaction with friends. The waiter whose name is RAHUL, who claims to be the Manager and a waiter also of this place, stood by our head the moment we entered to poke us to place an order - Mentioning " aapko order abhi karna padega" while we said that we will place an order shortly, he poked us 3 times in a span of 5 minutes. When my colleague went to place an order they said u need to place a minimum of 2000INR, as that is the table valuation for one hour. We asked where is this written in your policies of CCD that a minimum order of 2K is to be met, he said i define it.

Its not a matter of 2K but the way he put us on SPOT was a terrible experience and while i could click the picture of this person to share who is that person, he snatched my phone and was about to throw it away. He almost went physical with me.

In short, for all the decent people out there, please please think twice to enter this horrible place and if you enter ensure u meet the billing value of 2000INR+ as the valuation of occupying a table.

Today, I visited CCD outlet located in the middle circle of Connaught Place, Delhi, in B block. I ordered 2 cafe mocha,1 blue sparkle and 1 water bottle. At that time the staff at the billing counter whose name is Krishna.. told me about an offer which was.. we can get a pizza as well at the same price that we are paying for these 3 drinks.. but he didn't tell us that we will be charged extra for that combo if we order pizza as well.. and after the billing the amount that we paid was Rs. 1080 only. Then we asked for bill and when we checked the bill amount it was totally wrong.. we were not able to find out how the amount crossed Rs. 1000 just for offering those 3 drinks.. then when we asked the sales executive.. at that time he couldn't justify his fraud.. and he was found guilty at the same time. Then, we decided to order the same items again so that we can check that how has he charged us so high.. but very surprisingly, the staff member said that those items are now out of stock and there we knew that he was cheating on us and making us pay the higher amount fraudulently. One Cafe Cofee Day you will find at the Gate No. 5, 6,10 - Block F (inside of metro station - behind turnstiles) and before turnstiles there is simply a sell point without tables and chairs.. Another one cafe is at the exit for Gate No. 7, 8 - Block A (inside of metro station - behind turnstiles) and before turnstiles you will also find simply sell point without opportunity to sit and without tables.One more cafe you can find near up stairs escalator / exit from the Yellow Line. So, all together, there are 3 Cafe Coffee Day and two sell points almost at one place - one next to the other. I wish everyone to have a pleasant time!

There is one more very useful spot, just at the exit from up stairs escalator from Yellow Line. It's a very small SBI Bank branch - M S RAJIV CHOWK BRANCH, but it has CDM (Cash Deposit Machine) inside. So, you can deposit cash there at any point of time, during Delhi Metro working hours. This facility is available even on banking holidays, when this small branch is not operating and there is no bank employees inside, it is still open and CDM and ATM inside are available for use.
