Well I went there receI recently visited Cafe De Flora and, unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The food was overpriced and had very low quantity, making it poor value for money. Here’s a quick rundown:

Food Quality & Pricing: The food was overpriced with very low quantity—hardly enough for two people. For a dish costing over ₹500, I expected a generous serving without hidden extra charges.

Customization Issues: I requested to replace mushrooms in my pasta due to an allergy, but was told no substitutions were allowed. I ended up having to switch to another pasta that surprisingly had no vegetables at all. When I inquired, the attendant mentioned that adding veggies would cost an extra ₹100—a policy that seems unreasonable at such a price point.

Menu Layout: The menu order was confusing. Typically, veg items are showcased first, followed by egg and then non-veg options. At Cafe De Flora, non-veg dishes dominated the top, with veg and egg options scattered in between.

Service Concerns: The service was odd. The table was cleared abruptly, leaving behind a water bottle (priced over ₹250) and glasses without checking our preferences. Additionally, my coke was served with ice in a glass even though it came from a cold can—an unnecessary step that hinted at a lack of attention to customer requests.

Ambience: The only saving grace was the ambiance, which was pleasant.

Overall, the food and service left much to be desired, especially compared to other cafes in the area that offer better portion sizes, more flexible service, and reasonable pricing. Not...

Note: I didnt get any reply from last 7 days from cafe against my grievence.

I wanted to share my recent experience at your cafe, which has left me with mixed feelings. While your establishment boasts a luxurious and beautiful ambiance for a dining experience, our visit was marred by a significant inconvenience.

After a wait of almost 90 minutes, the dining table offered to us fell below the standard expected at your cafe. It seemed as if the seven-star ambiance was compromised to accommodate more people during peak hours. The makeshift arrangement in the walkway towards the washroom, coupled with inadequate lighting, detracted from the overall dining experience.

I believe you have access to our billing details and CCTV footage of that specific dining table. This experience has overshadowed our otherwise positive impression of your cafe. I am reaching out directly with this feedback in the hope that you will take immediate action to rectify the situation.

I trust you will address this issue promptly. It is my sincere suggestion that you reconsider the placement of tables meant solely to accommodate a higher volume of guests during busy periods, ensuring that they do not compromise the esteemed status of your establishment.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and hope for a swift...

Established on French style sort the setup has been done for this cafe situated in Delhi Chanakyapuri, known as Cafe De Flora. The decor is startling and uses a natural pinch to make it as it's called (Flora). Very light and pastel color, paintings and dim and cozy music which give it a distinctive tone. The only thing that bothers me is que. Even if you have made a reservation, you still have to stand in a queue on weekends. So be prepared in advance.

If we talk about the menu, the food, and drinks are delectable and beautifully presented. One thing that was exceptional to me was the outstanding customer service. The staff was pleasant and cautious, with fast speedy service. They were also aware of the menu and happy to make suggestions.

Now let's talk about the food which we have ordered.

1)Classic Margarita Pizza 2)I am feeling saucy pasta 3)Garlic bread with cheese 4)Sunrise punch drink 5)Canned Juices 6)Espresso Ly for you

Overall it cost us around 2000/-, I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who loves the ancient ambiance surrounding the genuine portion of food. But before visiting make sure about the queue to avoid the waiting time. Most importantly bring your ID which you need to show for entry. Hence it is worth a visit with friends, family,...

Café De Flora is a charming, nestled inside the tranquil Santushti Shopping Complex in Chanakyapuri. Drawing inspiration from French bistros and romantic Parisian gardens, it offers a visually captivating setting that makes it one of Delhi’s most Instagrammable spots. From the moment you enter, you’re greeted with cascading blooms, pastel hues, and elegant decor that feels straight out of a European dream. Whether you're there for a coffee date, a casual brunch, or a relaxed dessert outing, the ambiance plays a key role in elevating the overall experience. Food is generally well-prepared and presented beautifully, flavors are more on the subtle side, which might not appeal to those who prefer bold or spicy dishes. Service is warm and attentive, even during peak hours. The staff handles the crowd well and often offers helpful suggestions. Prices are on the higher end, typically around ₹1,500–1,700 for two, but most guests feel the quality, ambiance, and location justify the cost—especially for special occasions. A few practical considerations: it’s inside a secure government complex, so bring a valid ID, and be aware that parking is limited to one person per vehicle. Also, restrooms are outside the café and may not meet expectations.

A Breakfast Haven: Delicious Mornings Near the US Embassy Caption: “Egg-citing mornings start here!” Nestled within walking distance of the US Embassy, this charming breakfast spot offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Whether you’re craving a peaceful solo breakfast or a quiet space to chat with a friend, this place delivers on all fronts. The ambiance is effortlessly calming, with tasteful décor, soft lighting, and a layout that feels both intimate and inviting. The highlight of my visit was the Eggs Benedict, which I can confidently say is one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The poached eggs were beautifully done—firm on the outside with a luscious, velvety yolk that oozed out perfectly when cut. What sets this place apart is not just the quality of the food but the tranquil setting that makes you want to linger a little longer. It’s the perfect spot to slow down, enjoy a delicious meal, and soak in a peaceful morning. If you’re in the area, this breakfast haven is a must-visit!
