Chaayos Cafe at DLF Promenade — Restaurant in New Delhi

I found a big piece of transparent plastic INSIDE of their date-fig cake while eating. It was extremely disappointing and alarming to get such unhygienic food item from Chaayos. It could've become a medical emergency, I would never have known to have ingested plastic if it would've melted inside of the cake during microwave heating. Or if some child would've eaten it and asphyxiated because of it!! The staff reported this to their seniors but no satisfying response was given on how they are going to handle this. Chaayos is as usual have best tea options one can have and with all cleanliness and served by professional staff. But at this vasant kunj mall I encountered strange thing that the manager name lokesh if I am not wrong behaved very rudely when we questioned about that we haven't got the receipt, though that was my mistake and they gave me receipt copy as well, but first defensive and rude attitude of manager was unexpected. I like Chaayos for its simplicity. Casual place to catch up with a friend. I always use the Chaayos Wallet facility where you get INR 1100 for INR 1000, helps in placing the order quickly and efficiently with using only the registered mobile number.
