Chokola - Vasant Kunj — Restaurant in New Delhi

ChokoLa had been on my list of Dessert parlors to review for a long time and I finally got the opportunity to do the same. This outlet is located in the Posh and Happening Khan Market. It serves a big variety of Desserts, Cakes, Customized Chocolates, Breads and Drinks. I Began with tasting the 35% Milk Chocolates and 55% Dark Chocolates which can also be used in cooking. Both were velvety and extremely consistent in the taste. Then i tried the Coffee Caramel Pastry which was mousse based and it didn't excite my taste buds much. Next i tried The Mixed Berry Cheesecake, Not the best cheesecake i have tried but quite satisfactory. Coming to the Belgian Chocolate Truffle Pastry, This cant be described in words and I highly recommend you to experience this for yourself. The Butterscotch Crunchies were a tasty nibble and you can definitely pair it with something savoury. Dear Choko La Vasant kunj Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I want to express my gratitude for being a part of our recent celebration.

However, I am compelled to share my disappointment with the delivery experience we encountered. The cake, scheduled for delivery at 1:00 PM, did not arrive until 2:35 PM. This delay was unexpected and caused significant inconvenience during our event.

Furthermore, the behavior of your delivery personnel was concerning. Praveen, the delivery person, was notably discourteous and lacked basic communication etiquette. Such conduct is not reflective of the standards we associate with your esteemed brand.

In contrast, I would like to commend Priyanka for her professionalism. Despite the challenges, she remained calm and attentive, ensuring our concerns were heard.

This experience led to an embarrassing situation in front of our guests. Regrettably, based on this incident, we are hesitant to recommend Choko La to our friends and family...

Picked a chocolate truffle pastry and a chocolate mousse on the 8th of Dec. Next day when we tasted the pastry and the mousse, they were all stale, the mousse was sour and the pastry was not soft and crumbled. I called them the same day to complain about the quality and was told the manager wasnt available,called again the next day and got the same reply. Since I insisted on speaking to the manager, Ms Angelika (The Manager) called the following day and said she would send someone to pick the order, so they could investigate what was wrong with the order, post which their customer service team would reach out to me (Really 🤔).

Its the 13th today and their so called "Investigation" hasn't even begun. And the most amazing part is they expect me to store their stale stuff in my fridge for days or maybe till the time they finally begin their "investigation".

The quality of the food was ofcourse a matter of concern but what became a bigger concern was...
