CSOI is a tale of two campuses. The older one in KG marg ( this campus) started as a kind of office canteen in an old building originally made to house the Committee that drafted our Constitution But the reasonable price made it extremely popular .

CSOI expansion in Vinay Marg area brought in the aspect of posh looks. The other campus is built like a Neo Edwardian building with high domes and arches leaving our campus look like a country cousin. But days are changing. The major part of this campus has now got sparkling granite floors and a high class air conditioning system. The other wing is due for renovation

CSOI, marked here is the one located on Curzon Road K.G. Marg, New Delhi-110 001, near the Madhav Rao Scindia-K.G. Marg Round - about, and not the one mentioned above i.e. CSIO Chanakyapuri. This location is of Curzon Road, not of Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri, the distance between the two location is about 6-7 km. This is the place where stood the 'Constitution House' from 1946 to 1964. The Honorable Members of 'Constituent Assembly', including the Chairman of the Drafting Committee Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and others, would stay and work to give free India her Constitution. CSOI, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi-110 021 is located, on Vinay Marg (near Ashoka Hotel), opposite to Nehru Park.

I've been to both the CSOI clubs in Delhi now. I'll have to say that this one isn't as good as the one at chanakyapuri. I haven't really used any other facilities than the restaurants, so I'll only talk in those terms. Food is okayish, its prepared in such a way that everyone can enjoy it equally. But if I'm ordering chilly potato instead of honey chilly potato, I want it to be spicy. If I'm ordering butter naan instead of the plain naan, i want it to be buttery. Talking about the service, it is good, but they take a little too much time to prepare the order. Even a beverage takes around 15 minutes. I'll say it's okayish, but choose chanakyapuri...
