I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to dine at Tamra Restaurant, and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, nearly everything went wrong, leaving me utterly disappointed.
First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff appeared disinterested and lacked basic courtesy. It took an excruciatingly long time for anyone to acknowledge our presence, and even then, they seemed annoyed by our presence. Our server was inattentive and forgetful, frequently mixing up our orders and displaying a complete lack of knowledge about the menu.
As for the food, it was nothing short of a disaster. The dishes arrived cold, poorly presented, and lacking any semblance of flavor. It was evident that no care or attention was given to the preparation. The ingredients seemed stale and tasteless, as if they had been sitting around for far too long. Even simple dishes like salads were disappointingly bland and lacked freshness.
To make matters worse, the restaurant's ambiance was dismal. The decor was outdated, and the seating arrangements were uncomfortable. The noise level was unbearable, making it difficult to hold a conversation without shouting. It seemed as though no effort was made to create a pleasant atmosphere for diners.
In terms of value for money, the prices were exorbitant considering the quality of the food and service provided. I would have gladly paid a premium for a satisfying dining experience, but what I received was far from that. It felt like a complete rip-off.

I was welcomed by a lady and asked if I had a booking. I said yes and she said it's via Zomato and I said yes. While sitting she said to a waiter or staff "yeah Zomato wale hai". I first ignored it but later I realised that my service was very poor when compared to other sitting nearby. I was not properly entertained and the food was also served was not very hot. Waitor was Aashish. For chaat, I had to say 3 times and tikki came and it was cold. Starters came and it was ok. You can check in the camera and had to wait for 30mins before the main course was served and it was not very hot. Than bring the desert took 20mins time. After the desert was finished, no one came to ask was the food good or anything else required. I went to the countee after 15mins to ask for my bill. I was my wedding anniversary and the staff seriously spoilt my and my wife mood. I could have better enjoyed at home or went to a 3 star place or even a road side Dhaba, the hospitality or there far more better than what I got yesterday. I could how the Aashish was serving the other customers sitting next to me, smile on his face and body language. I Shangri La team and workers think that coustomers coming via Zomato are worse, stop taking bookings and don't let them enter to your hotel. We manufacture medicine but our medicine works same for all patients and don't consider that you had given discount on price or you are rich or poor etc.
Shangri La staff need to learn the meaning of HOSPITALITY.
