Went here for lunch today. It was Mahavir Jayanti and many offices in the Connaught Place area were closed so the crowd was thin and parking was available. The menu has a lot of Indian options with a good choice of vegetarian mains. But the starters are a speciality. Don’t miss out on the mushroom on toast or the dim sums. We stuck to their well known continental cuisine :Grilled chicken , grilled fish( river sole with a mushroom sauce) some lasagna. And chilled beer to go with it, though the bar offers a lot of choice. Prices are reasonable for the Central Delhi region. Zombie Bar’s most celebrated dish is its Neapolitan style sour dough pizza. It beats most famous Italian restaurants hollow. The taste has been tweaked for the local palate, and yes there’s a chicken variant, Always try and get it packed and take it home, it’s a great family treat. Tiramisu and brownies are the stand out deserts , lava cake which was a stand out desert ( yes it would erupt on the table) seems to be off the menu now. Dr. Zombie in Connaught Place, Delhi was a great dining experience. We visited on a Sunday evening in winter and it wasn’t busy. The restaurant is on the first floor and is accessible by a few flights of stairs.

The menu is primarily Italian, but also serves North Indian dishes. We got the Chicken Lovers Pizza, the Chicken Skewers, and Oriental Punch and Coke for drinks.

The Chicken Lovers Pizza was just right—a thin(ish) crust pizza with mozzarella and the succulent chicken sausage sprinkled on it made for a wonderful start to the meal. The Chicken Skewers were the perfect amount of spicy, and the garlic rubbed on them enhanced the flavor. The punch was well-done too, bursting with so much flavour.

The service was prompt and polite. Even though we didn’t try alcohol, their cocktails and alcohol seemed promising. The zombie decor on the walls is a nice and different touch to the place.
