Haldiram's - DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj — Restaurant in New Delhi

Haldiram's is known for its taste and food quality. But unfortunately it didn't go well for me. I ordered "Purani dilli ke Chole Rice" on Monday, 9aug 2021 at around 1-1:30 pm. I had visited more than 100 times in the year as me & my family are addicted to shopping from DLF and Ambience mall. Our visits are so often to the DLF Food Court specially Haldiram that few faces have become familiar to us & Vice versa.

I was observing the server (bulky in shape - a new joinee ;I guess) at the counter and found that he was in a bit of a hurry. I noticed the leftover rice and Chole dish at the bottom of the container. But this guy in order to close the request served the unattended/leftover food. After 2 hours I visited my parents in Noida and suddenly my condition deteriorated and I vomited 8 times and fainted. I Rushed to the doctor and he said that it's because of food poisoning . To my surprise 2 days back his wife consumed Raj Kachori from Noida Haldiram's and she fell ill. It's been 1 week and I haven't achieved normal health. I am moving abroad next month and worrying about my current situation.

I would ask higher authority to intervene and do the needful. I don't need any compensation but a commitment on service delivery.Haldiram's downtrodden quality would itself decide...

The worst experience I have had at a Haldiram's store. To start with the cashier didn't seem interested to move the line at a pace. I joined the line at number 3 and had to wait for almost 10 minutes for my turn. When I finally reached, all the items I wanted were not available. Just because I had waited so much I went for some other items. Even at the service counter, the staff didn't have the polite attitude to serve. Finally, the biggest issue is that I think the food I had had quality issues specifically cold coffee. I didn't check the dates on the bottle but I fell sick with a stomach infection when I reached back home. That is the only item my wife didn't share with me in all the places we ate that day so most likely it was an issue with cold coffee. I have had wonderful experience at most other Haldiram stores, but this was so bad in all departments that it has shaken my trust...
