Hoots' — Restaurant in New Delhi

I’ve been to Hoots twice. I would’ve loved to actually stay the second time, but the curly haired concierge told us there was no space (I saw 3 empty tables) and recommended we sit in the smoking room. We tried to stay there but for 3 non-smokers, it was uncomfortable. We requested that we stand by the bar and have one drink - we wanted to share the experience of Hoots with my sister who was visiting from overseas. But the gentleman quite brusquely told us it wasn’t possible and turned away. I wouldn’t mind if he politely told us he couldn’t accommodate us, but his rudeness took us by surprise. Anyhoo, not a fun experience - I don’t enjoy the snootiness Hoots comes with; there are MANY MANY other places in Basant Lok where a lovely experience is prioritised, along with amazing cocktails (better than Hoots). So anyone who wants to go to Hoots, just don’t, instead go left to Lair, or...

Fantastic cocktails ….. this place is better then most 5 star places if your focus is on having delightfully crafted , picture perfect, delicious cocktails.

Place has very limited seating and they like it that way ( it’s like being in a elite club where membership is restricted) !!!

I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal. People know me. I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany. And so does this swanky little cocktail den with expert drinks.
