If I could give zero stars to the management, I absolutely would. The so called manager, Abhishek Tyagi (curly hair), looked no less than a villain straight out of a movie and he behaves like one too.
He was extremely rude, ill mannered and had the most inappropriate expressions on his face throughout the interaction. Basic hospitality etiquette requires politeness and a willingness to accommodate especially in the service industry but he clearly lacked both.
Today’s incident was nothing short of pathetic. He allowed two people to sit at a 4-5 seater table inside the restaurant but had the audacity to ask four of us, along with our dog, to squeeze into a table meant for two. When we questioned why such poor seating arrangements had been made, his response was, “How am I supposed to dream that four people would come with a dog?” In Hindi there’s a word called “batameez and jaahil, he is a blend of both and more.”
It was shocking, disrespectful and completely unfair. This is not how guests should be treated, specially in a place that is meant to host guests.
I happen to be batchmates with a few well-known influencers, can’t wait to tell them what a delightfully well-behaved staff Perch has. Am sure they’ll be happy to...
Read moreGood plates. Decent service. Noisy cafe environment. May help to layer walls & ceiling with noise proofing (cork sheets?) or have white noise machines!
Wine service is very poor. I say so because what they do is not what they say! Reds are stored in wine chiller alongwith whites. So served at cold temperatures.
Worse still, MANY of the wines listed on the menu are very different from what is kept in stock. E.g. Pinot Noir, Le Grand, France is a decent rated and reviewed wine. What was available may be a 6 Euro Pinot Noir from Hungary or something from Argentina that is not listed or known. Same with Chianti- listed is a good Italian vintage, available is something inferior. And they charge the same Rs. 6-9000 for both the well liked or unknown ones. So be careful, if you are a discerning wine drinker.
It's not a staff service issue, it's a management mis-practice, so I am not deducting rating stars. But very...

The staff is friendly and attentive. Jasmine, who took our order, was particularly knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent suggestions—an uncommon but much-appreciated trait. Kudos to her!
The cake pieces that came with my flat white contained egg, but Jasmine kindly swapped them for a delicious eggless almond cake, which was a thoughtful touch.
We ordered a flat white, cold coffee, and gremolata garlic bread.
Flat white – 10/10 Cold coffee – 5/10 (a bit too bitter for my taste) Garlic...
