KFC — Restaurant in Puducherry

KFC food...Awesome most of the time. Only problem is long queues and crowded place. Optimal location though!

This is my second bad experience in a week's time, the first at the Brigade Road outlet last week. Me & my wife visited the Forum Mall outlet on September 2, 2015 at 7:45PM. The place was crowded. We stood patiently in line & approched the counter on the extreme right of us when asked to. I had my debit card in hand. The first sentence from the billing clerk 'we do not deal with card today' (period). He was already ready to call the next customer. I stood my ground. Asked him why.....no answer, again why.....still no answer. Then sensing my irritation he said in a very curt manner 'server down'. Ok, I asked him to take my order. Very unprofessionally and with an indifferent attitude he billed me. Walked off, served me take away and handed me my change in a very indifferent manner. Never mind, the place was crowded & he has no time to be polite & sweet talk. Ok. Now, to my surprise at home the bucket of 8 pieces of crispy chicken contained 4 wings, 1 drumstick & 3 shoulder pieces!! Well, to my knowledge one single chicken contains 8 to 10 pieces.....2 breasts, 2wings, 2 shoulder, 2 thighs & 2 drumsticks!? If I'm not correct, please correct me. Is this punishment (4 chicken wings in a single bucket order of 8 pieces!) for insisting on taking down my order? This makes me belive the various social media publications that KFC genetically modifies their chicken to fit their specifications!? This appears to be the truth now! Or, is this because KFC-India relies on hiring unqualified, unprofessional, uneducated cheap staff to cut on their overheads? Do not KFC India impart orientation in customer relationship? Or is it just hire & fire? I have been to many KFC outlets all over the world & I find that it is in India that KFC thrives on arrogance. The staff's attitude is that we customers exist because of them & not the other way round. This attitude is noticed in many of their main outlets such as, Commercial Street, Brigade Road & Forum Mall outlets. Add insult to injury, I was given the change of Rs.140/- with no bill/receipt. I realised this only later and I am aprehensive of being short...

If you ever wanna eat worst KFC chicken in your life please do visit this Branch, totally unbearable chicken quality, Very old stocked chicken meat, Just look at the images I’ve shared….Not just today, I’m working near to this kfc for 4 years…It was best for 3 years….From last one year….I’ve been eating worstest chicken in my life here…Just go taste it and You’ll know how worst it is🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 My regular order is Classic zinger box and sometimes popcorn and wings……Order the same, Taste it and Do Throw it on chefs face please. They should be ashamed to serve these chickens to their beloved customers. And some of the postives are Quick billing, Decent counter staffs, and decent ambience and toilets….But are we going just for this???…..Shut the restaurant if you can’t provide atleast bearable and better chicken…..🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 I wasted my money multiple times like today. Ppl are not eating in your restaurant for whole life to adjust one day, they comes only on any special days and specific day to taste KFC chicken and u r serving wastes and spoiled chickens, U r not donating free food, I’m paying money, I’ll visit once again, if u provide worst chicken one more time, it will be last day for this branch, I’ll straight away throw that chicken on ppl working in counter in front of crowded customers and create ruckus in the restaurant and U’ll face the worst consequences. Better don’t provide spoiled chicken...

I am writing this review again as i could not find my review being posted. Chicken popcorn ordered home delivery and what I received was not pop corn but chicken pinched from left overs pieces of other chicken flavours. I could taste peri peri chicken along with classic and it was not hot or warm. Its was dead cold we pay big money to get left overs. This outlet is the second time last time when i ordered Chicken Popcorn i got a new flavour as burnt chicken popcorn and now pinched chicken popcorn. May be others tasted good chicken over here and it must have been my bad day. Atleast if the ordered dish was not available could have informed and refunded the cash but instead bless me with left overs pieces nicely pinched and dead cold. Thanks.

Also as i go through so many negative reviews i could only find a system generated response to mail the feedback mail id of KFC. I am pretty much sure its waste of time but still i am posting for my experience and satisfaction. God bless others with good experiences. Improve your service and quality of food being cooked else get rid of the current staff and hire new ones atleast we can give a...
