We were four guests, including a foreign colleague, and it was a Monday. Two had already entered the restaurant. When the remaining two of us reached, and tried to go to the entrance, a very stern looking lady bouncer βwavedβ us to a hostess standing at a table. She curtly asked us if we had a reservation. We said our colleagues were inside, then she asked the name under which we had booked β since the booking was done via the office, I tried a couple of names- to which she said there was no such reservation (despite us stating our colleagues were seated inside!). Finally she spoke out a name from a paper which had perhaps 5-6 entries as I could see, and when we said that was it, we were βwavedβ in.
The restaurant had exactly three tables occupied (it is a large place, and I understand it is very full on weekends). We were comfortably seated and very politely taken care of by two servers for our drinks and food. The food was excellent. What jarred was the live music, with the singer believing that the louder he sings the better he will sound π
Asked the way to the toilets, and was informed to go to another section of the restaurant which was accessed via a door, and was pretty much in the dark considering hardly any patrons that day. Unable to see my way around, I saw a couple of restaurant staff talking a corner far away, who made some gestures to me indicating the way to the loo. Not having seen them clearly I walked ahead and almost tripped on a step in the middle of that part of the restaurant. Fumbling to the toilets, I found a/the staff member coming to me and in response to my βwhy donβt you have better lighting hereβ rudely replied stating that I did not follow his directions (hand gestures!).
Back to the table, and we wanted our foreign colleague to have a taste of fresh mangoes. We found that the seasonal pannacotta on offer would be served with fresh mango βchunksβ. We requested our server to ask the chef to please provide in addition a few extra slices of mango on the side for our overseas guest. After a considerable wait the pannacotta arrived, with no extra slices of mango β upon asking, the server old us that the βchunksβ were replaced with βslicesβ and that is the best that could be done.
Finally, while leaving, there is a separate exit, right next to the entry, and our very stern female bouncer βwavedβ our overseas guest sternly to the exit when he tried to go out via the entrance.
I am sure there are reasons for the high ratings for this outlet, on our first (and perhaps last) visit, we could not find any. Hope the outlet remembers they are in the service industry and regardless of all the rush of patrons, only good, kind service will keep them up...
Β Β Β Read moreThe atmosphere of the bar is nice. The dance floor is fun. The live music is a bit too loud. The food is decent and the drinks are great. However, where this restaurant lacks is with the service and management. I was at this restaurant with a group of foreigners and a few Indians. When I asked my server Sangam for the different beers available, they told me they only had Hoegarden and Corona, the most expensive beers on the menu. Later on, another waiter told me they also serve Budweiser. This lack of transparency throughout my time was very annoying. When I asked my waiter Sangam if they offer pitchers or towers or anything bulk of beer and he insisted that they only serve single bottles of beer. Finding this odd, I still ordered more beer and later another waiter suggested that I shouldβve ordered a bucket. Annoyed by the continued lack of transparency, I confronted Sangam and he insisted that βyeh hi hamara kaam haiβ and he tried to brush it off as if he forgot. The other waiter told me to adjust the extra charges during the final payment of the bill. Already pissed off, I didnβt make too big of a fuss as I was entertaining foreign guests. When it came time to settle the tab, I mentioned to Sangram that his lack of transparency throughout the night was unfair and that I was being scammed. He kept insisting that βyeh hi hamara kaam haiβ and I bluntly asked him if his job is to scam people. He tried to blush it off by saying the difference is only 200 rupees but I insisted that each penny has value but he held his arrogant and unfriendly attitude. Already pissed off, I handed him my card because I was already sick of the environment and I wanted to leave without confrontation. When entering the total in the card machine, Sangam then tried to upcharge my total bill by 6k rupees and when I asked him about it he pretended it was his mistake and then repeatedly gave an unfriendly and arrogant attitude that it was his job to scam people.
Overall, the atmosphereβs great but the management is obviously extremely focused on scamming large groups especially those with foreigners and the service is extremely unfriendly, confusing and fake. I would not recommend this place and I hope Sangam is taught how to properly manage guests and his reprimanded for his poor service and I hope this bar learns how to treat their customers properly instead of trying to scam them at every...

It was a Friday evening when we visited The Mills. I was highly impressed with the ambiance and the arrangement of the diverse brands. We chose 2BHK Diner to dine-in. It was jam-packed, but we still got a table in one of the corners. The server entertained us immediately and took our order of Popular Spanish Veggie Croquettes and Indonesian Cottage Cheese Satay with Hoegaarden Pitcher. The service was a bit slow, but it was worth every second. The food was delectable, and the ingredients were fresh. Spaghetti Dal Makhani was our pick for the main course as it was listed in the Crazy Fusion. It was Plain Spaghetti topped with Dal Makhani, and here we were expecting a fusion, which it wasn't. We asked the server if this is it or if anything is missing, he mentioned that this is one of the best-sellers (as usual), and then we requested him to replace the dish. While ordering the other one, he told us to not go for any fusion dishes as we didn't like the last one. I was really angry with his statement, but my sister calmed me down. While ordering the other one, he told us to not go for any fusion dishes as we didn't like the last one. I was really angry with his statement, but my sister calmed me down. Followed by one more incident, had Tomato Vodka Pink Pasta which we didn't even order. After this, we paid the bill and left. I didn't complain to the manager, because then I wouldn't have the opportunity to write this review. I realized that I never had an experience where a waiter dared to tell me that I don't have the palate for fusion because I didn't like one of their delicacies.
The evening started with a smile, but eventually, my mood was spoiled. The management needs to be more cautious about its staff.
