Harry's Bar & Kitchen, located in Lane 7 Koregaon Park, is a great break for our Indian taste buds. Harry's is one of Singapore's leading hospitality brand and boasts of serving over a million customers every year. With the presence in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune, I feel it is quite underrated in Pune for the food and ambience it provides. This chic bar and kitchen have amazing live sushi and dim sum counter, with a range of South Asian cuisine. The seating is well lit and cozy and has an extravagant view of the bar. The outside seating has a view of KP lanes and is equally comfortable. The brand originally hails from Singapore and boasts of some unique food. A nice lounge-like ambiance with great food, wooden interiors, and good music makes it an ideal place for a romantic date night or a party with friends. I decided to order a couple of things from the menu. Read on to know what I liked best! Wonton kachoris If you are looking for snacks to crunch on, go for Harry’s style veg kachori that has a wonton twist and has chaat flavors to satiate the Indian in you. Love this Indian tadka to the Chinese wonton. Dumplings
The second dumplings I tried and really liked were the ‘Hot Basil Chicken Dumplings’, which are spicy basil chicken flavoured dumplings with Oyster sauce. There are red in colour, courtesy of beetroot, and super yum! Sushi Like I said, this place has a live sushi counter. I opted for the ‘Rice paper chicken maki’ which is a beautiful mix of Chicken, avocado and spring onion. Those of you who love the taste of avocado can definitely go for this! Loved the fresh, creamy avocado touch. The ‘Kung pao curry’ comes next, and is Rustic Sichuan spiced stir fry laced with cashew. You can choose your choice of a base from sticky rice or wok-tossed noodles. So, they also serve meal bowls, with the Vegetarian bowl priced at Rs. 350/-, the non-vegetarian one at Rs. 400/-, and the Seafood one at Rs. 450/-. I went for the chicken bowl and it totally was a tummy filling option. Coming to desserts, I ordered the Drunken Volcano Cake, which is flambeed warm chocolate lava pudding served alongside creamy vanilla ice-cream. Really loved the twist to the classic coco lava, this one is a must try for sure!
Alongside food, I also ordered mocktails. The two I went for were English summer, and Blue Breeze. While the English Summer has tasty notes of peach and strawberry and is super refreshing to have after a long day at work, the Blue Breeze is all about lychee blue curacao and sparkling lime. Both of these are absolutely refreshing and a must try for the Summer months! All-in-all absolutely loved the ambience of Harry’s, their courteous staff, the excellent seating arrangements, and the food. I will definitely recommend this place for anyone searching for a hangout spot...
Read moreRecently I visited Harry's Bar & Kitchen, located in Lane 7 Koregaon Park. The brand has made it's way all the way from Singapore to our town and they have some fun concepts and really good food to offer with a very chic ambience, indoor offering a bar view, more like a lounge and as two semi indoor seatings offering a view of the bylanes of Koregaon Park!
So I visited them for lunch to try their Sushi and Dimsum Special menu, available through weekdays for lunch.
We started our meal with Coffee Toffee (a cold coffee) and Blueberry Cheesecake shake to beat the heat so essentially it was starting the meal with desserts! Both the drinks were not too heavy and tasted really good!
To get the meal going we started with their super crisp and delicious onion rings, what I loved about these the most was that they weren't overly oily! Recommended.
Chi Chow Style Dumplings - These had a filling of asparagus, bell peppers, water chestnuts and more! Highly Recommended.
Trio Mushroom with Truffle Oil - Oh, I could have 10 of these and still want MORE! Such intense mushroom flavor and it just melted in my mouth! ABSOLUTELY loved this one. If you love mushrooms just as much as I do, you have to try these! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Crispy Spicy Avocado Maki - As the name suggests this one had a crispy and spicy element to go with the creamy Avocado, the Avocado in the sushi was really fresh, which is why I enjoyed it more. I'm still acquiring a taste for sushi, and this one is perfect if you're trying sushi for the first time! Highly Recommended.
Can't wait to visit Harry's again to have some more of the mushroom dimsums and try the other food...

The chic bar and kitchen located in KP has an amazing live sushi and dimsum counter and also offers a range of South Asian cuisine.
Inside seating has amazing lights and super view of the bar. There is outside seating arrangement in both the corridors - one side has view of KP lanes and the other has live sushi and dimsums counter. I sat close to live counter and loved my unlimited buffet with sushi and dimsums. They have a variety of vegetarian sushi and dimsums. Below are a few that I had and really liked:
Crispy Spicy Avocado Maki (Sushi) - Loved the taste of avocado in the sushi. The outside layer was cripy and unlike most of the sushi it was spicy.
Trio Mushroom with Truffle Oil (Dumplings) - This surely is one for the mushroom lovers. I am not a big fan of mushrooms but my partner loved it and gave a big thumbs up to this.
Jade Corn Dumplings - These were the best dumplings on that day with the outer layer almost transparent and showing the veg and corn stuffing inside.
We also had a couple of drinks along with the amazing food. Coffee Toffee was perfectly thick cold coffee with added chocolate flavor. Blueberry cooler was perfect on that hot afternoon and did refresh me.
Harry's is a must visit place if you love South Asian cuisine and they have a lot of offer. The unlimited Sushi and Dimsum lunch on weekdays is a great way to explore and devour...
