Bourn Village — Restaurant in Pune

This cafe is runned by goondas. It is not a safe place for its customers and they have threats to life after 8pm in the cafe. The owner and staffs consume alcohol and misbehaves with their customers and are abusive. Go there at your own risk. Already there are multiple complaints on that cafe which are officially registered. The owner of the Cafe is very rude, arrogant and adamant. He doesn't has any professionalism nor behaves in a professional manner towards his customers. He thinks he is very Superior and very big after having some lower level political influence and support from goons, accuses who belong from slums. The owner of the Cafe should first learn to behave well with his customers and to treat them well, basic manners, politeness and discipline. He has a very wrong attitude. He is not so educated to run a Cafe nor has any qualities or experience to run a Cafe. He just shows off and thinks himself Superior for being the owner of that cheap cafe. Food and beverages quality of the cafe are not good and hygiene. This cafe is not a safe place for couples and women.Don't put yourself into harm or trouble by going to that cafe. There are good cafes in surrounding areas. For Cold coffee and hot coffee, I can recommend 'Durga cafe' which is just behind that cafe. For sodas, sandwiches, pizzas and burgers there are many good cafes in SB and FC road. The owner's mentality and character is very cheap. He has the habit of making false alligations towards his customers who complaints about the food or staff's unprofessional behavior, even though if he doesn't knew them personally. They try to justify their mistakes by giving illogical reasons or falsy blamming others. The alligations they make on others doesn't gets proved and the result they get warned by Police and officials. Last time when a girl complained about the quality of a beverage the cafe served, the owner tried to prove that girl is characterless and abused her. Be careful and think twice before going to that Cafe. People go to Cafe to spend good quality time with friends or spouse or gf/bf,not to get stressed or disappointed. But that Cafe is such, becoz of staffs and owner, the customer gets stressed and disappointed due to poor service, rude behavior and poor quality of food...

Place is too small: merely 15-20 people can sit, tables move like seesaw, and everything is self serviced even when the sitting capacity is less, you need to go to counter by yourself just to order something. I ordered cold coffee with ice cream which was terrible, they served ice cream which was freezed to a brick (not able to break) and had absolutely no taste.

Last but not the least:

I found a hair in the coffee Which was a cherry on the cake to my already spoiled taste and mood.

The taste is good but it is not as it was before. The jumbo bournvita was once famous because of its quantity and quality. You get Bournvita (hot & cold), coffe(hot and cold), maggie, burgers, shakes, soda,etc. Also they need to improve the hygiene alot and also need to develop the place as it is famous and many students come here to chill out. The place is quite small so people have to sit on their vehicles and have the dishes provided. They have degraded the service...
