Ishan Pure Veg — Restaurant in Pune

Loved it absolutely! Ishan Pure Veg is must try place. So when you are in and around Deccan or FC road and looking for a quick fast food joint or let me put it this way you are looking for idli vada, vada Sambhar, dosas, pav bhaji etc you would obviously go to Vaishali or Rupali right? But trust me Ishan pure veg is equally good and i guess its underrated. I loved the sambhar especially with any combination of Idli or medu vada or even batata vada. We have tried other main course food items aswell, loved the tava pulav too. Their chai is awesome you can try the chai 1 by 2 in glass. This place is well organised and the service is good, and the best part is they have a valet service available. Apart from the main dining area on the ground floor they have a nice AC restaurant on the first floor to accomodate families and groups. You can try many items if you chose to dine here but all the basics are up to the mark. Their batata vada and Sabudana vada were awesome so be assured. So, to start with, I visit the restaurant quite often. Till now, I absolutely loved this place, but today, it was a totally opposite scene. So, I had called a day before to book a table for 12 people, to which they said that they don't take advance booking. I was fine with it. I went there early to book a table, being it my child's birthday. They said the table is ready, let your people come we shall give you the table, so at around 12pm all of our friends gathered. After waiting for half an hour we received our juices and starters. The upper staff (like the manager was utter rude), we asked for an extra chair to which he murmured to the lower staff 'itna sara toh chair hai extra chair maang rahe hai', to every order they were giving rude glances and from 1pm they started telling us to vacant the table, we were still eating, our orders were still pending. When I asked for a bill, the floor manager was like kab ka rakha hai aapke saamne, I was like kahan bolo toh sahi madam bill yaha rakha hai. Pathetic service, pathetic staff. Food...

Ordered paneer butter masala and 4 chapati on swiggy. Trust me, it was the worst quality paneer masala I've ever eaten. The paneer was burnt and extremely sticky. Rotis felt like cold and stale( felt like they were made in the morning and served cold in parcels). Have been ordering for 2 years from this place and the quality is going down day by day. Paneer butter masala is the most basic dish that a veg restaurant makes but at ishaan pure veg it was pathetic. There was no cream, no butter and had big pieces of capsicum.

Called the restaurant delivery number to give a friendly feedback about the problem faced but the person on call was extremely rude and arrogant. He said and I quote " humare yaha aisa hi Banta Hai Lena Hai toh lo"
