Eden — Restaurant in Pune

I'd have to say that this is one of the most underrated places. I've been going to Eden court since 2011. It serves excellent preparations of chicken, mutton, fish and even lamb. The non-veg platter is quite good. The Chicken Laziz is exceptional. For veg-lovers, Gobi and Paneer items are worth ordering. Alcohol is quite reasonable. They have a"khamba" system which is very economical if you're in a group of 6 or more. Ambience is quite average. The place could be considered for family dinners.

Staff is great but service was slow. Because it took too much time to serve we cancelled one order but they didn't cancel and served whatever they could manage in 3 mins. So we asked the manager to cancel that order as it was too late and also the desert was not as expected. But he denied and asked us to throw or do whatever but he will charge the amount. Eventually we paid the amount but the behavior of that manager was so bad we have now decided not to visit that restaurant ever again. We were loyal customers from the last 7-8 years and even visited...

I visited this restaurant after 18-20 years. The ambience is good and staff is friendly. But not sure why the quality and taste of the food was not what I was expecting. May be it is same and my expectations were high. Food was not bad, but certainly I was expecting much better experience. It might be also that I went for lunch ,dinner might be different experience. But I don't think I will visit there soon. Will suggest try other options on FC road or university road...
