Tien — Restaurant in Pune

We had the 'all you can eat' sushi .. and it was literally the most stale and horrible sushi one can ever have. I saw multiple reviews here before going - mostly positive (which I got influenced by) and one was absolutely negative which warned about the food (the one I should have believed - and I apologise to him for not listening)... Clearly the people here (staff and customers) don't know what good sushi means which explains the good reviews.. They say 'we make fresh sushi' but they don't mention that they make fresh Sushi out of stale ingredients. The sushi pretty much had only rice in it and very little of other ingredients (that too badly prepared) .. and hardly any fish (which was extremely stale as well) .. .. one could not make out much difference among the types of sushi.. they all pretty much tasted the same - "of (badly put together) rice". Even the ginger served was stale and off colour - (which didn't even need to be cooked but just served fresh) the veg options were not great either - the veggies used were disgusting.. the mushrooms were bad .. the asaparagus was all dried up and badly cooked.. I mean I could go on and on out of my frustration of having wasted money that too on my brother's birthday!!! The one thing good was the strong wasabi (which, I was told was brought from Mumbai and not made in-house! ) .. This place does offer the unlimited sushi at a cheaper price but still not worth the absolute sub par stale sushi that was served! Sorry.. but never ever...

Loved this place. I had heard a lot about the peaceful environment there. Initially when I saw the place I felt it's at a busy road, so what peace are they talking about? But once I went in I felt the difference between other cafes and Tien. The food here is an experience. I had a coffee first and after a while a salad. I know I'm not hungry anymore but I am not feeling that excessive full where I struggle to get up, feel lazy and stuff, which is usually my problem when I eat from most other places. I would probably consider switching to this place whenever I crave baahar ka khana, because I know I don't have to worry about my health when I eat from here. 5 stats for the food, service, the feel of the place and the quirky little write-ups around. Over all rating is 4 for me because I was sitting in the smoking area and the stench of the sewage right next to it bothered me a little bit. Recommending it to everyone who is...

Had went to their outlet at 6:15 p.m, their opening time been 5:30 p.m, it was still closed, representative of the restaurant saw us standing outside and I called him for asking about the delay, he replied "the service team hasn't reached it so restaurant is closed" I asked if I can just sit inside their open space rather than waiting outside on the footpath, he didn't reply anything and went back inside, upon calling on their restaurant provided number, I asked them again about the reason not letting in, they reply was the same and they hung up, upon calling back again they received the call but nobody answered from the other side, manager didn't care to attend the matter and they were unaware of the fact that they have put opening timing on their insta page and straight away denied it, too rude behaviour , saddened to see this kind of restaurant behaviour and customer been treated...
