Cafe Durga in Ganeshnagar, Pune, is a well-known spot for students, professionals, and locals alike, especially for its famous cold coffee. I visited this outlet recently and found it to be a delightful place for a casual outing. Tucked away near Karnataka High School in Bharat Vihar, the location is easy to reach and offers a convenient stop for a quick bite or coffee break.

The ambiance of the café is simple yet inviting, with indoor and outdoor seating options. While it doesn't boast luxury interiors, the relaxed vibe and fast service more than make up for it. The staff were courteous, and despite the crowd during peak hours, they managed to handle orders efficiently.

The highlight of my visit was, without a doubt, their cold coffee. Rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet, it's no surprise that it's their bestseller. I also tried their Veggie Double Patty burger and a cheese sandwich — both served fresh, with generous portions. The pricing is very reasonable, with most dishes and beverages well under ₹200, making it a great value for money.

One thing to note is that the place can get quite busy, especially in the evenings, so finding a seat might require a short wait. However, the food is served quickly, and the turnover is fast.

A tiny cafe with small seating arrangement and decent coffee and chocolate.

I had the hot chocolate which was seriously less in quantity. Just a really tiny brown cup. My friend had a cold chocolate which was served in a tall glass.

But what's unbeatable was this, sitting on a cold, rainy day with friends in a roadside place having a hot cup of chocolate. The best feeling ever. Don't go here on a sunny afternoon. You'll be burnt to a crisp.

Don't go here for the food either. Go here to make memories. After class to grab a quick bite or to hang out with friends for sometime.

Both these hot and cold chocolate were for Rs. 25 each. Not always affordable, I think. Especially not the hot chocolate.

But still, you'd like to go there, maybe...

I'm sharing my personal experience, it was the worst experience dealing with the staff. I was taking away one of the items from there menu & because of network issue, the payment made twice the price. That man was saying that he'll not give that money back and I was supposed to order something compulsory of that extra money. That man said come tomorrow and when I went to take that item again for that extra money I paid earlier, that man was saying now the rates have been increased, now pay extra 10 Rs. Ultimately I took that item for free after a conflict. (The food quality was also not worth)

This was the worst experience anyone could face.
