New cafe with great ambiance and average food.
Visited this cafe on a Sunday afternoon.
Ambiance: The cafe is well designed with comfortable sitting. Small confectionery set up on the left side of the entrance. The cafe has few tables above as well. LCD tv installed to view live matches.
Location: Located on the very busy street, surrounded by many college students, easy to locate but might have to face trouble in finding parking space in the narrow lane.
Food: I wanted to order baked bean on toast, but as it was not available the manager suggested us to try Kaman patice. The pactice came on a fancy serving tray, cut into halves. For Rs. 40, 2 patice is really good.
Next we ordered Grilled Veggie cheese sandwich. I am giving 3 stars because of the sandwich and tea.
The sandwich was very dry from inside and lacked veggies inside, there were just a couples of slices of tomato and cucumber, no chutney or butter added. It did not taste well with the ketchup they provided.
Tea and Bun Maska: Tea was masala tea I guess which was very sweet and too milky. Bun maska was good in comparison.
Overall, I guess this place is for some non-veg dishes. One might have good experience, but avoid ordering veggie...
Read moreWould never visit this again. They demand a charge/fine of Rs.200 extra to customers who work on their laptop or use charging points in the cafe. How disrespectful to working professionals. Really pathetic... So it's okay to visit a cafe for less important things like "Babu Shona" dating.. but you will be charged a fine if you visit and sit down to work while having your coffee. What a pathetic thing to implement. I've noticed this idiotic thing is a common practice only in Central Pune (Peth Area).. other Cafes elsewhere in Pune don't care what you do.. they simply do their job of taking and executing orders. Cafe owners like Gayatri Pandit really need to think about what culture they want to promote in their cafes and this area.. only time-pass & dating culture or a good professional work culture too..
Besides that, the Coffee was okay but the overall service is below average. I also noticed a group of friends leaving the place because they hadn't recieved their order for long. The service person didn't even try to convince them of staying but simple said okay when they said cancel the order if it'll...
Read moreQuite unique ambience with the rustic structure which is nicely maintained and simply decorated. The menu is really big and includes variety of quick bite options along with full meal options. They have continental snacks like pasta, pizza, open sandwich and items like burger, sandwich, Maggie too. In accompaniments one can get fries as a good option. They also have good options for eggiterians which offers, omelette, burji along with buns so one can also get common Iranian cafe options here. They also have a full menu for Chinese , Punjabi and Indian meals with a good range of options. In beverages also they have a wide range offering both hot and cold coffees, some mocktails and other milk based options like hot chocolate or bournvita. They serve cold coffee in a very unique shape of light bulb. The overall ambience is great and the food quality and quantity both are above average so I would definitely recommend this cafe for a cozy date or a great friends...
