Yesterday, I had the pleasure of visiting Dadu's, a renowned dessert and sweets shop, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. From the moment I stepped into the store, it was evident that cleanliness and hygiene are of utmost priority here. The shop was immaculately maintained, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that instantly elevated the experience.
One of the standout features of Dadu's is their incredible variety of sweets and desserts. Whether you are a traditional mithai lover or someone with a penchant for modern desserts, there is something to satisfy every palate. The sheer range of options available can make choosing a delightful challenge!
What truly sets Dadu's apart is their exceptional service. The staff were attentive, polite, and well-trained, ensuring that every customer felt valued. It’s clear that they have prioritized customer satisfaction, which is refreshing to see in such a busy establishment.
A highlight of my visit was their live Jalebi counter. Watching the jalebis being prepared fresh in front of me was a treat in itself. Cooked in clean, aromatic desi ghee, the jalebis were served hot and crispy. The gentleman manning the counter was not only skilled but also very friendly. He graciously offered me a sample to try, adding a personal touch to the experience that I greatly appreciated.
Another aspect that impressed me was their attention to detail in packaging and presentation, especially for takeaway orders. The sweets were beautifully packed, making them perfect for gifting or enjoying at home. It’s evident that Dadu's takes pride in every aspect of their service, right down to the smallest details.
If there’s one downside, it would be the pricing. Dadu's is slightly on the expensive side, but considering the quality, service, and overall experience, I believe it is worth the occasional indulgence.
In conclusion, Dadu's is not just a sweets shop; it’s an experience that combines excellent service, cleanliness, and delicious treats. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality sweets and desserts. Despite the slightly higher price point, the overall experience makes it well worth it. I look forward to...
Read moreDadus employees are empowered, and this bizarre incident that happened before my eyes proves it. An employee was deep frying samosas, when a pigeon flew straight into the boiling oil with the samosas. In a flash, it was rescued and cold water poured over the pigeon. The employee neatly trashed all the half-fried samosas and threw away all the oil. He did not ask any supervisor. Truly truly empowered employees! Praiseworthy indeed. Dadus at Kothrud is newly opened. Expensive but authentic designer Indian mithai is how I can describe. Every piece of mithai is a work of art! Most mithais are in the range ₹ 2200 to 3400 per kg. Even the sample tasting was a joyful experience for my wife. They have a sitout space where samosas, chole-batura, chaat etc is served. I had the sev-dahi-puri, and the dahi was thick and 6 puris filled my stomach totally. For genuine top of the line Indian designer mithai this is the place. Chitale pales in comparison. The shop is opulently done and fully air-conditioned with excellent display counters. Enthusiastic and empowered staff are a welcome change from the reluctant and grouchy staff at other places. A must visit if you have deep pockets....or a taste for the...
Read moreThe gulab Rasberry was one of the best sweets I have had in Pune in the last decade! I kid you not, the taste, quality, quantity was absolutely amazing! Being a bengali I can say these tiny rasberries were better than some of the rasgullas you would get in kolkata. They are made of actual chena and it retains it lush business and softness even when you keep it in the fridge for a few days. Though there was no specific gulab flavour in it, only the colour is gulabi but tastewise a total hit! would definitely reorder. The cutlet is also good, but can't say it's awesome though. just about okay okay. Apart from these I had earlier got chocobricks as a gift and those were also awesome. The chocobricks came with food grade moisture absorbing sachets inside the box. The chocobricks were crunchy and full of nuts, a perfect tea time accompaniment. The other remarkable thing is their packaging. As you can see the wet sweets are packed in a tamper proof box where you need to break open the seal to have the sweets. Absolutely value for money in every way. Finally I have found a sweet destination in pune which serves quality sweet without a huge...
