If you are in Camp then chances are you will come across this place as the shop is so big that you just can't miss it. It is directly opposite George restaurant so you can have dessert here after your lunch / dinner at George. The shop not just looks posh but they also serve equally premium quality food. They have a varied menu consisting of traditional sweets like barfi, laddu etc., fancy desserts like baklava, truffle etc., and savoury items like samosa, khandvi and so on. They have both dine in and takeaway options. The menu is expensive but the quality of items that they serve justify the price. You can buy 1 piece of sweet to try or in bulk, both options are available. If you want to buy in bulk they also offer sweets for tasting. We tried their laddu, rose almond truffle and almond bakuj. All were good in taste but the rose almond truffle was the most unique and tasty thing ever and the laddu was melt in your mouth, fall apart, delicious.

Dadu's Sweets in Camp, Pune, stands out for its premium quality and exquisite offerings, albeit at a notably higher price point compared to other sweet shops in the area. Known for their rich flavors and top-notch quality, Dadu's caters to those who prioritize taste and presentation over budget-friendly options. The sweets at Dadu's are undeniably delicious, with specialties like Samosas priced at Rs. 35, Kachoris at Rs. 40, and luxurious treats like Gulab Jamun at Rs. 1050 per kg. While the prices may be steep, they are justified by the superior taste and the upscale packaging of their sweet boxes, which add a touch of elegance to any occasion. For customers who are willing to splurge on premium sweets that make for impressive gifts or personal indulgences, Dadu's is highly recommended. However, for those seeking more economical options for regular consumption, exploring other sweet shops in Pune might be more suitable.

We have ordered quite a few times from here. It had been good at start like 6 months back but dliwly the quality of food has gone down drastically. We had a very bad experience with them in last week. We ordered 2 paani pooris, 1 bhel and 1 sev puri. One of the poori packets came broken. And the filling for the pooris was stale. The bhel was stale, too and so was the sev poori. And I fail to understand who puts kish mish in bhel. 🤯 It also had poha along with murmure. Strange. I guess the chef doesn't know how to make bhel. I regret not taking pictures else I could have put here. But after having all that all of us at home got sick. I am not going to order again from here.

Quality of Sweets - Debatable for the cost at which they are offered. When we pitch at super high cost, management should ensure quality to commensurate to that price range.

Staff Behavior - Need way too improvement. Especially their soft skills. The cost and decor of the shop is not just for sweets, probably also for the experience if I assess right. But that doesn't translate in the conduct of the staff.

Hygiene- My endorsing remark is primarily for this aspect. There were abundant number of flies in the display cabinets, I had gone to select Baklawa to be specific and today. There were good no of flies inside the racks. Now, what was more appalling was when I pointed out, the complacency of the staff.. And they immediately offered pre packed Baklawa gift box. Since the box was more than a month old in packing date, and as a customer I would prefer newest pack, the staff said - We have fresh stuff, but you only preferred packed ones to fresh !! That's after showing him the flies.. Well, he was magnanimous to accept that it's our mistake that flies are there.. But honestly, there are enough way to keep a place fly proof and it may be kept fly proof for the price charged ? The air curtains prima facie I found was not doing their job. There are other alternate and parallel ways.

Overall, image of Dadus had earned a dent in my mind. As a customer, I am ready to pay the high price, but that, one should earn the trust..

Trust the management make a note and do needful to justify the price at which products are offered... and transfer value to customer than just sweets !

Addendum :-

Sir, Very much appreciate your thoughtful reply which is reassuring. Trust the aspects are well covered for posterity to redeem the faith on the...
