Pind Punjab is for anyone who loves authentic North Indian and Punjabi cuisine. From the moment you step in, the vibrant Punjabi dhaba-style ambiance transports you straight to Punjab, making it a spot for a family dinner or a get-together with friends.

Pros: Delicious Punjabi Food – The flavors are rich, and the spices are perfectly balanced. Must-try dishes include Dal Makhani, Butter Chicken, Amritsari Kulcha, and Lassi. The food feels homemade yet indulgent, capturing the true essence of Punjabi cuisine.

Great Ambiance & Vibes – The interiors are decorated in traditional Punjabi style, with bright colors, rustic wooden furniture, and Bhangra-inspired decor. The music adds to the lively atmosphere, making dining here a fun experience.

Good Portion Sizes – The servings are generous, making it great for sharing. The thalis are especially fulfilling and offer a variety of flavors on one plate.

The staff is polite, attentive, and ensures a smooth dining experience.

Hygienic & Clean – The restaurant maintains good hygiene, and the kitchen appears well-managed.

Cons: Waiting Time – Since it's a popular restaurant, you may have to wait for a table, especially during weekends. It’s best to arrive early or make a reservation if possible.

Parking Issues – Being located in the busy MG Road area, parking can be a challenge. If you’re driving, be prepared to find a spot in the nearby lanes or use paid parking services.

Limited Seating for Large Groups – The seating arrangement is cozy, but if you have a large group, you might have to wait longer to be...

As a food enthusiast, I recently visited Pind Punjab with high hopes of savoring authentic Punjabi cuisine. However, my experience was far from satisfactory, particularly with the Chicken Rara and Chicken Afgani Tikka dishes.

Firstly, the Chicken Rara lacked the rich flavors promised by its description. Instead of tender pieces of chicken simmered in a robust gravy, I met with dry and overcooked meat drowned in a sauce that lacked depth and spice. The dish lacked the essential balance of flavors, leaving a bland and underwhelming taste.

Moving on to the Chicken Afgani Tikka, I met with disappointment once again. The chicken pieces were dry and tough, indicating over-marination or improper cooking techniques. The promised creamy marinade was barely discernible, and the dish lacked the characteristic smoky aroma and flavor associated with well-prepared Afgani Tikka.

Additionally, the presentation of both dishes was lackluster, failing to entice or excite the senses. The portions were meager, especially considering the price point, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and questioning the value for money.

Despite the restaurant's ambiance and friendly service, the culinary experience fell short of expectations. The lack of attention to detail in both preparation and execution detracted from what could have been a memorable dining experience. Overall, I cannot recommend the Chicken Rara and Chicken Afgani Tikka at Pind Punjab to fellow food enthusiasts seeking an authentic taste of...

Visited Pind Punjab for a late afternoon linch. Interestingly ordered from their Chinese cuisine menu: Chicken Manchurian, and Paneer in Red Sauce. For starters, ordered Grilled Chicken and Veg Kebab. Food-wise, it was an average experience. The Schezwan noodles were slightly oily and lacked punch. The Manchurian was okay, but not memorable. Paneer in red sauce leaned too sweet. Grilled Chicken was flavorful and well-cooked — probably the best of the lot — while the Veg Kebab was well prepared and crunchy. One major letdown was the cleanliness. The table and chairs were noticeably dirty, and the cutlery didn’t feel properly washed. For a better dining experience, I strongly recommend the restaurant maintains cleaner seating areas and ensures all utensils are thoroughly cleaned before being served. First impressions matter, and hygiene goes a long way in improving them. Decent spot if you're experimenting with different cuisine here, but some serious attention to cleanliness and consistency in food quality is needed as per the menu. It's good to add a different cuisine altogether in a Punjabi restaurant, but expectations should be met, value for money.
