Dario’s Pune: A Grand Comeback with an Italian Soul Dario’s has made a spectacular return to Pune, and it is better than ever. Known for its authentic Italian flavors, the restaurant now boasts a gorgeous new bar, adding a touch of elegance to its already charming ambiance. Whether you are a longtime fan or visiting for the first time, Dario’s offers an unforgettable culinary journey that celebrates Italian cuisine in its purest form. -Pane Aglio E Burro– Classic garlic bread elevated with rich butter and fresh parsley, perfectly crisp and aromatic. -Caprigna – A delightful combination of melted goat cheese crostini served with fresh lettuce, pomegranate, and a creamy French dressing for a refreshing bite. -Funghi Dario – Whole roasted mushrooms infused with lemon, garlic, parsley, and extra virgin olive oil, delivering a burst of earthy and citrusy flavors. -Asparagus Cabbasisi – Fresh, tender asparagus lightly dressed with lemon, olive oil, and topped with parmesan shavings, creating a simple yet elegant starter. -Rotondino – Crispy fried cheese balls stuffed with corn and jalapeño, offering a perfect balance of crunch, spice, and creaminess. -Carduni Pizza – A thin-crust pizza loaded with fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, broccoli, garlic, and sun-dried tomatoes, creating a vibrant and flavorful bite in every slice. -Tortellini Passalacqua– Hearty tortellini pasta tossed in a rich tomato sauce with aubergine, onions, garlic, olives, bell peppers, and a hint of chilli for an extra kick. -Lasagne Buzzurri– A comforting, homemade baked pasta dish layered with tomatoes, bell peppers, green beans, creamy red sauce, and parmesan, making it a satisfying vegetarian take on a classic lasagne. -Chocolate Cake – Indulgently moist and rich, with deep cocoa flavors that melt in your mouth. -Blueberry Cheesecake – A luscious and creamy cheesecake topped with a tangy blueberry compote, delivering the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. -Tiramisu– The classic Italian dessert, airy and light with delicate layers of coffee-soaked sponge and mascarpone, finished with a generous dusting of cocoa. -Lemon and Almond Cheesecake– A refreshing twist on cheesecake with zesty lemon flavors and a subtle nutty crunch from almonds, making for a unique and delightful dessert. An Experience to Remember The moment you step into Dario’s, the warm and inviting ambiance transports you straight to an Italian trattoria. The new bar adds a sophisticated touch, making it a perfect spot to unwind with a cocktail or a glass of wine. The service is attentive and welcoming, ensuring that every dish is served with care. Dario’s continues to excel in bringing authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented Italian food to Pune. From their expertly crafted pizzas and soul-satisfying pastas to decadent desserts, every dish reflects a passion for fine ingredients and classic cooking techniques. Final Verdict Dario’s comeback is nothing short of exceptional. Whether you are here for a leisurely brunch, a romantic dinner, or a relaxed evening at the bar, this place promises a memorable experience. If you love good food, great ambiance, and authentic Italian flavors, Dario’s is a must-visit.

It is very difficult to be impressed by the service more than the food itself, but this cafe did it for me. Don't get me wrong the taste is really good but as somebody who visited the cafe alone I was very impressed by their service. First of all I was on call for a few times and yet the waiters understood and responded well to me mouthing or whispering thank you. I took a solid 10 to 15 minutes to decide what I wanted because I was very confused and yet none of the waiters rushed me. When the person who looked like the head of the services came to take my order and I told him that I was confused and that I don't like tomato sauces, he customised the dish to my liking. I also wanted to order two main dishes and he suggested that I not do so because it will be quite heavy. With a very casual attitude he said don't worry ma'am. order the main dish and then think if you want something small on the side. Of course I had leftovers lol the sauces were really creamy and the taste was A+ and it was worth the money because the ingredients felt very fresh and rich. My only suggestions- 1) bring down the price of diet Coke because that did not feel worth it to me. The soda on the menu is priced at 100/- rupees but I was charged 220 for a can. I do feel that this should have been made clear or they should write it separately on their menu. 2) the croissant is more on the buttery puff pastry/patties texture than soft and flaky which can be worked upon. It still smelled very fresh so kudos for that. Overall it was a great birthday lunch/dinner.

I visited Dario's first time (after hearing its name n reputation since many years) just two weeks back for a birthday dinner. I was so mughty impressed at the evening ambience, the candle lit tables, the soft chattering n no loud music and ofcourse surprised at the fully vegetarian menu, went on to order a wonderful gnocchi pasta, it was simply delicious. I couldn't wait yo visit again n went today for lunch. Nice chatty servers, gentle breeze saving from the spring heat i ended up ordering an affogato! The downslide begins....the affogato is served in a large wine glass and in a very i-dont-know-why-italians-like-this manner. Nothing impressive..the espresso lacked the punch. Next i went for an aubergine sandwich because if not Dario's who else can get it right in Pune. Arrrrgghhh the horror...between two tiny slices of very crusty (thus old) sourdough bread was a roasted eggplant slice, few capers and AMUL cheese slice🤐🤐🤐 i specifically asked the servers thst how could they serve indian brinjals just like that with no freshness of salad or fresh mozzarella or a souring tomato pesto...i am not sure at all what happened. They were honest on the use of processed cheese slice and generous (even after me refusing bunch of times) to pack me a blueberry cheescake on the go (that too was very mediocre). Rs.460 for this plate is not at all worthy!!! I am shocked how restaurants in Pune dont last beyond one good meal experience 😒😒

This was on my wish list since quite some time and finally went here on the first day of Ganapati. As, I was a vegetarian and was craving for some Italian food landed here. It was afternoon, and I came to have my lunch at this place around at 2 pm. The place is quite huge with indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating really attracted me and I preferred to sit outdoor. The outdoor-only had 3 to 4 table occupied rest the entire restaurant was empty and very peaceful. This place has lot of greenery around so you feel a lot close to nature. As soon as u enter the place, you will get the aromas of breads and garlic. The lighting of this place is dim kinds so will give you a cozy feeling.

As soon as we sat we were served with 4 small pieces of complimentary bread along with butter.

We ordered for Quesadillas with bell peppers and cheese: This was awesome in taste, but the quantity was just 4 pieces, dint do justice to the money part.

Then we ordered Spaghetti Pasta in Pink sauce: Again, the quantity was too less, but taste-wise it was perfect with the right amount of sauce and veggies in it.

We tried their gluten-free chocolate mousse: This was heavenly but too much in quantity. We were full after eating half of the dessert. This was a dish, which was so fresh that it just melted in the mouth. It had a perfect flavor of chocolate in it not too sweet and no too bitter.

The overall experience of being at this place was awesome. Would definitely come here again and next time will try their Pizza and salads. Wish they increase a bit of their quantity when it comes to their starters and Pastas. All...
