A common man's restaurant

All is good about this restaurant. It opens at 7 am till 11 pm in night. You get all types of veg foods from different dishes to different thalis that will suit every budget. What I like about this restaurant is cleanliness and taste of the food. The service is also quick.

They also have outdoor sitting facility.

They also have varieties of paan viz chocolate paan, malai paan etc.

The mini thali consists of 3 tandoori rotis, jeera rice, dal, one subji, papad, curd and onion. The tandoori rotis were delicious. Price as on November 2022 is Rs 110/-.

Different dishes include medu vada, dosa, bhakri pithal (besan), milk shakes, Chinese starters like Manchurian etc. However I did not find Chinese fried rice or noodles in the menu.

Paan too was tasty.

Update on 15 February 2023:

They have increased the prices of 80% dishes by almost double. It seems the owner is in mood to loot. Except thali all other menu is costly.

They have added Chinese items in their menu. The dishes were tasty but quantity was not sufficient as compared to the price. For Chinese items I will prefer "Kok-Pa" hotel near Mahabaleshwar hotel which is just few minutes away from Giridhar hotel.

The service and taste of few dishes have improved a lot. I observed a lot of crowd on Saturdays and Sundays. The menu items and rates remain same.Must visit restaurant.

Warning message.

When you order a costly dish like Singapur Fried Rice etc you get a delicious dish. However if you don't finish it fully and request waiter to "pack remaining as parcel" some greedy waiter/s removes a lot of portion for themselves and give us a small portion in a polythene bag because they carry remaining dish inside their kitchen. So beware of waiters who packs your remaining food for you...

Short Version : Great Tea. Good Taste . Reasonable Price. Good Service.

Long Version:

One of the most decent place in town for dining in. I have had a few dishes and light food here. This place has a very nice seating area outside. Its Spacious and well light. This can become your go to meeting spot for date or 1on1 conversation with your friends.

Food : Nothing fancy it has a decent menu with mix of South and North Indian dishes. The quality of food is super nice as its not too oily and tastes good. Some best pics for food are Tomato uttapa, sandwiches, Tea. I tried tomato omelette as well but it was not upto the mark so try avoiding that. you can order anything without the fear of being worst.

Service: Vithal kaka is a gem. The waiters here are nice and not judging at all. overall good people and good service. People will treat you right if you treat them right.

Ambiance: they have good indoor out door sitting. Tables are clean and tidy... Parking is bit issue..

Service : as I said earlier it is quick.. Captain and all staff knows every menu item on the list.. Owner is good 👍 keeps eye on every movement

Food : As I said food value for money and quality is best 💯.. Try their onion uttappa and dahi wada best 👍 in business..

Overall still the best in baner area.. With updated interior it is good for family as well.

Good for daily ppl, quality is best.. Value for money, main usp is thier service.. Lightning quick....
