Grandmama's Cafe — Restaurant in Pune

Was here to check out the New Menu which is recently launched. This place has the best ambience. Cute Little corners beautiful seatings ample space and what not. The staff being very helpful and courteous towards explaining every bit of the menu to be served. Starting with all that I was served : The first course was definitely the drinks We had ordered : Kala Khatta Goti Soda I loved the taste. The prominent Kala Khatta taste which was expected was perfectly tasted. This one's definitely recommended. The Bubblegum Icecream Float I liked the concept of letting the customer prepare their own float. The Bubblegum flavour was perfectly tasted. Kiwi Brain Freezer This one was a bit of unique to me, as I've never earlier tried this kind of a drink. Fresh kiwi pulp along with lots of ice was really good to taste. . Next was the Starter course : We got to try some amazing Starters which actually were the meal lifters. Volcano Fries Fries dipped in liquid cheese and served with a tangy yet a bit spicy tomato salsa. This was good! Asian Style Pepper Chicken The chicken poppers were amazing to taste. The filling was soo good and moist. Was served along with some spicy schezwan chutney. . Moving ahead with the main course : Mac N Cheese Pizza This has my heart, literally was the best pizza till date. Loved the cheesy pasta topped over a thin crust. #highlyrecommended Pumpkin and Sage Ravioli Thus too was really good to taste. A very unique combination. The Raviolis literally melted in mouth and was just amazinggg. P.s this one's a bit sweet because if the pumpkin filling. . My most favorite part now : The Desserts Royal Blue Velvet Cake Oh my god. This looked so gorgeous The color being most beautiful and the taste being heavenly. Chocolate Bomb Actually don't need to explain this!! This was a big bomb of heavenly chocolate and was so amazing to taste. Loved it . All in all I loved the experience at Grandma's cafe and would surely recommended you all to try...

There are not many restaurants which can assure you great ambiance, great service and great food. Grandmama's is one of them. With such a pleasing ambiance, consistently great service and food, Grandmama's is fast climbing on my top favorite restaurants list.

Agreed the price is a bit steep on the menu but it is worth the overall experience.

While my regular order here are the Grandmama's Roast chicken leg and home-style grilled chicken, I also recommend Parmesan meat balls, which is a must if you love lamb/goat and the Parmesan crusted Mahi Mahi, which is basically Pomfret fish (mahi mahi) over a bed of brown rice and a creamy, cheesy gravy poured all around it.

But Aloha! You must try their new Thick Freak shakes. I tried the caramel and pretzel, which is a meal in itself and sufficient dessert for two. Talking about desserts, there is a whole different section for that as well and I pamper my loved ones with the chocolate ball, which just breaks in to crumbly delicious chocolate, when hot liquid chocolate is poured on it, revealing the oh-so-amazing chocolate brownie from within. A great choice if you are in a group or a pair.

Finally there are many drinks but if you like something fresh or for the kids, try the kala khatta. An upgrade from the street drink that you must try.

Needless, to say Grandmama's is a must visit and with its sure food and service it is an undisputed...

Grandmama's cafe: homely feeling! Heard about this cafe recently via social media posts. Drooling food images and great ambiance.

Visited this cafe recently, and trust me the ambiance and vibe was really amazing. It is 3 story bungalow turned into a great cafe.

Food Items I have tried: Homemade ginger ale: Perfectly made with lemon juice and ginger juice.

Trash can nachos: A must try appetiser from the menu. It was topped with cheese sauce, sour cream and tangy salsa. Presentation was indeed good. Highly recommended!

Grandmama's meatballs: Another must try items form the menu. It was perfectly minced and deep fried. It was juicy inside. It was served in tangy sauce on the sweeter side.

Grilles chimichuri Prawns: I love prawns and they served it perfectly. The Prawns were little bit spicy that I loved the most. Recommended for Prawns lovers.

Mud cake: Too sweet to die for. The cake was moist with chocolate flavour. It was so soft that it melted in the mouth. Must try dessert.

Triple decker brownie: Sinful triple layers of velvet, oreo and dulce de leche brownies made to its perfection.

Service was indeed the best amd staff were friendly. This place offers wide range of food items to choose from. The quality and quantity were not...
