Last night, I had one of the most satisfying and delightful vegetarian food experiences at Green Food Hotel. It was truly a culinary treat that exceeded all my expectations. Right from the moment we stepped in, the ambience felt warm and inviting, and the aroma of freshly prepared spices made us even more excited for the meal ahead.
We decided to try their much-recommended Malwani Handi, and honestly, it was nothing short of spectacular. The portion size was generous—easily sufficient for around two to three people. The rich, spicy flavors of the handi were perfectly balanced with a subtle hint of coconut and traditional Malwani masala. Every bite was bursting with authenticity, and it was served piping hot with soft chapatis and jeera rice, enhancing the overall experience. If you love traditional Maharashtrian cuisine with a Malwani twist, this dish is an absolute must-try.
To accompany the handi, we also ordered their special Kaju Masala, and that too was incredibly flavorful. The cashews were perfectly cooked, tender yet firm, and immersed in a creamy, mildly spiced gravy that complemented the Malwani Handi beautifully.
Overall, the food, service, and experience were truly memorable. I would highly recommend Green Food Hotel to anyone looking for authentic, delicious vegetarian food with generous portions and...
Read moreGreen Food or previously known as De Dalchini is one of those spots that have tons to offer in terms of menu and decent enough taste.
Green food has a tremendous sitting capacity and also offers a AC hall though it is pretty small.
Good variety: Offers - South Indian, Chinese, Punjabi and other items likes sandwiches etc.
Ambience: Nothing really much to talk about here. It's a standard hotel and can be extremely noisy if the hotel is crowded. Unluckily we visited on Sunday and had a group of around 20 people right next to us, so it was pretty chaotic.
Food Service: Even though it was a crowded restaurant, the service is pretty fast.
Cleanliness: Probably because it was crowded, the servers were in a bit of a rush. Our glasses for water had some bits floating around and the dishes they provided were a bit messy. Ofcourse they replaced them with clean ones later. The restaurant in itself is pretty clean.
Overall: This is a good place to go for a dinner. Isn't suitable for...

We had Punjabi Cuisine here. We ordered Masala Papad and Veg Lollipop for my daughter. Masala papad was nice not salty. Lollipop was crispy and tasty. In the main course we ordered there preferred Punjabi dishes with Nan/Roti. Those were awesome and tasty. Portion can be improved a bit.
We then ordered Veg Biryani which always my favourite dish to have in the restaurant. Portion was nice and tasty as well.
Ambience: Ambience was nice. There is fish tank. Kids can enjoy. AC rooms are there. So as per your choice you can enjoy.
Price: Food is not that pricy. There are bunch of options within your budget. You can consider minimum 200-300 per person.
