If you’re looking for the perfect bun muska and a cup of tea that could make your grandmother cry happy tears, congratulations—you’ve found the place. If you’re looking for basic human freedoms like using a laptop, charging your phone, or existing solo without feeling like an outlaw—keep walking.
Yes, the food is fantastic. But the rules? Oh boy. This isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a "Rule Museum" where the exhibits are laminated on every wall. No laptops. No gaming. No charging points. Basically, if Thomas Edison walked in here, they’d probably fine him for inventing electricity.
Also, if you’re dining alone, brace yourself. You might feel like the awkward extra in someone else’s party because apparently, one person eating alone is suspicious activity. The instructions include such gems as “Don’t flirt with the cashier” (because clearly, all of us came here for romance, not carbs).
It’s like they want you to enjoy your tea in complete analog isolation—staring at the ceiling while contemplating your life choices.
Honestly, with so many restrictions, they might as well ditch the chairs and run a takeaway counter. That way, they can serve the glorious bun muska without the side order of authoritarian vibes.
Verdict: Come for the tea, stay for the food, but don’t stay too long—you might violate Rule #427 without...
Read moreWell trotted down to this so called hyped up place in Model colony last week & to tell you it was a disaster.!! I had ordered a plate of Kheema (;Approx 240 quid)with pav & ended up forking out a good 300 quid approx as I was famished post work..! Nevertheless in a nutshell the kheema ,presentation wise did not appeal as it was stone cold steve austin!!! Try the one in Bandra opp: Mehboob studio & it's something to die for..! (;Irani joint). Bandra is a gastronomic delight.! What got my goat is " the gentleman was clueless when the server told him it was cold! They then heated it up in a micro,I reckon..! The Kalyani Nagar outlet is worth visiting...Very uncanny they have these walkie talkies ( where they coordinate) .. Service is a tad slow, response time pathetic..I realised my folly when I visited them again on a Sunday morning not very busy, asked for a tea which took 25 mins but did not arrive!! I know you folks have just opened up ,but least you'll could improve " the service". People are paying...I guess as they say " one man's meat is another man's poison"!!. I've decided not to venture to these places & being a Bandra lad rather spend my money there!!! There needs to be some kind of coordination.. And mind you I don't believe in adding pics...Even the bun maska is a complete let down..!! Need to pull up...

I had heard a lot about this place, but my visit was a complete disappointment. Ordered a cold coffee, and it was a disaster—watery, overly sweet, and tasted like it was made from instant coffee rather than fresh brew. Absolutely no richness or depth in flavor!
I also tried their Chicken Keema Pav and Bun Maska, both of which were underwhelming. The keema was bland, barely warm, and served with cold, dry bread. The bun maska was just a regular bun with a tiny smear of butter—nothing special at all.
The service was super slow, and the staff seemed indifferent. Even though the place wasn’t too crowded, my order took forever to arrive. By the time it did, the food was either cold or not worth eating.
Overall, not worth the price, not worth the hype. I’d rather go elsewhere for a good cold coffee and decent food....
