Kabana as the name suggests has beautiful, tall and well covered from all sides to give each table complete privacy while enjoying romantic dinner by the poo side. Each kabana is huge with few chairs, side table and lounge bed. It has warm and romantic lights. Culinary and cutlery from Persian world is beautiful and depicts the culture well with intrigue degigns.
We had been there for Persian food fest. Food is full of flavors and gorgeous aroma with lot of spices and dry fruits. Aroma of kesar, roasted dry fruits and few other spice is amazing. Food is very tasty and full of flavors. Chef Azi was on the floor cooking amazing dishes and ensuring everyone is enjoying every bit of it.
We started with Ash-e-jo soup. It was think green soup made with barley and loaded flavorful spices, chickpeas, beans and lentils. Mezza Plate was outstanding with Borani spinach, Muhammarra, hummus with crisp Zattar Pita. All chutneys – hummus were simply delicious.
Zaffran Cottage Cheese kebabs were marinated in Turkish chilli and stuffed with pistachio. These were live grilled by Chef Azi and were a delight for our pallete. It is a must try.
For mains we had Manti – spinach, feta and chickpea stuffed ravioli cooked in hot paprika sauce. Beautiful hand rolled ravioli served in an amazing Persian Pan and pot was an add-on for our lovely dinner date. Doogh is flavourful mint yoghurt drink which goes well with food.
Food is full of spices, flavors, aroma and taste but not spicy (chilli hot).
Hot Kunafa with layers of cheese and cream was a delight and freshly rolled Baklava with lots of Pistachio was perfect to end the meal. They are serving sheesha as well. Very beautifully carved Sheeshas, besides the pool with lovely Persian food is perfect thing to do during Valentine week.
It is beautiful place to enjoy your romantic dinner during valentine week, but don’t wait till the day as Persian fest...
Read moreVisited here twice for the Persian food fest first time as a food blogger and second time as a guest . The first experience as a food blogger was way too good lovely food , great taste , food quality was good and when I visited as a guest everything changed food taste differs , quality differs . So I had ordered mezze platter , doner kebab & joojeh kebab in the tasting session . I loved it so I came here again the next day for dinner ordered the same things again the pita bread was changed the second day when asked them to make it soft they again served it crunchy and they say ki we can’t make it more soft when I have eaten the soft pita bread the other day in tasting . Doner kebab in tasting it was served with many stuffing of veggies but when I ordered as a guest there were only stuffing of chicken and mushroom hardly any veggies I had to show them picture of what I ate the other day and then they changed it . Joojeh kebab were way too delish and very soft to bite but the other day it was chewy . The person who came to us for explaination mentions that it’s our bad luck that staff was different who cooked and then such such things happen and that they are sorry . Really ? The staff the people who are handling the front desk and guests they are more worried about the closing rather then the experience of guest . On asking them to provide hummus which was served in a dish they are mentioning can’t give because it’s closing . Worst experience I have had as a guest and great experience as a blogger . The place is very beautiful ambience is lovely but service not at par as the beauty of the...
