Honestly very disappointed with my experience here all round. If I decide to visit a brand like the conrad, pay the high prices I expect atleast an satisfactory level of quality in terms of food and service if not exemplary. I've come from the hospitality industry and worked with brands like Marriott, ITC, Oberoi so I'm well aware of what servkce standard levels need to be. Not only was my smoothie completely tasteless, the service was very very disappointing. The service staff behind the counter just wants to stare down at their phone - i tried to catch the single staff members eye for 10 minutes for my order before finally walking up to the counter and placing my order up there. One would think a five star hotel would have staffed enough people in its lobby coffee shop to make sure it's patrons are comfortable and well taken care of. While paying the bill once again I had to wait a while for someone to come up. I paid in cash and the staff brought back change that was a few rupees short of the full change which, fine it's not a major amount for me but I would expect some acknowledgement or apology for being short. I would have reported this to the manager if there had been anyone around but since I didn't have all the time in the world to wait for a basic level of service, maybe this review will make the team take a long hard look at how the standards (if...

The Cakes/Pastries are fresh, taste amazing and have beautiful presentation! Even if some of the Pastries on display get over, they ask their Chef to prepare one for you, if you request.

The sandwiches and chicken nuggets that we ordered were freshly prepared for us. Again, amazing taste and presentation. It's just that the Fries that we got as sides were a little too salty.

In beverages we had ordered a Lemon Iced Tea, a Hot Chocolate, a Lemon Side and a Kala Khatta Mocktail. The quantity was sufficient. Also, one of my friends wanted a Smoothie, but, they were not serving it when we were there. So, if you are at Pune Sugar Box and want a smoothie, just check with the staff.

They serve a range of sandwiches, desserts - especially the blueberry cheesecake and a decadent black forest cake are excellent. Their Swiss truffle Cake is lip-smacking and drool-worthy.

Most of the desserts are priced at Rs 140 onwards, making it the right spot to hit for coffee meetings without burning a hole in your wallet.
