Theobroma Bakery and Cake Shop - Aundh, Pune — Restaurant in Pune

Theobroma has been one of the top outlets I’ve known till date who serve the best (Personal Fav- Overload) Brownies in India; too much ? May be. But take my word for this they will certainly become one amongst your all time favourites. I can assure you this for their Brownies. I have had brownies from gazillion different outlets located in Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad & Indore, but naught has been as special as the one I’ve had at Theobroma. Otherwise as well, their Milk Breads, Macaroons, & Special Cookies are something different, you should definitely give them a try. I didn’t like their Sandwiches, Bread Rolls or Simple Kathi Rolls, may be because they’re in the Bakery Business & don’t fashion these much. Adding to this I also feel their cakes are priced a lil’ heavily but I didn’t feel them being much different if you compare with other big outlets. Summarising it, they provide rich quality & sweet taste. A MUST visit for all the dessert lovers out there.

PS: If anyone who reads this knows any outlet that offers brownies as good as Theobroma or better than them, then definitely lemme know about the outlet name in the comments !!

Okay, so I went here today to buy few bakery products. I love Theobroma and all of their products. But this particular outlet (only today) had such an arrogant staff girl! There were only 2 girls and even after we entered the shop, they saw us, they didn’t ask us what we need even after long 3-4 minutes. When I told her what I wanted, I told her I wish the croissants to be heated up before they’re packed, her response was “it will take time”, I asked how much time, she said 5 minutes you’ll have to wait (we were the ONLY customers in the shop that time). I still said okay, and she unhappily started heating the croissants. Whatever I asked for she had a negative attitude toward it, I didn’t understand why exactly. This was such an unpleasant experience as I frequently visit Theobroma’s other outlets. I wish I could have asked her name, but sadly it didn’t cross my mind then. Today, I visited the Theobroma Branch in Aundh, Pune, and unfortunately, my experience with the service was quite disappointing. I had placed my order and was waiting when another customer (a lady) arrived. Despite me being there first and having already ordered, one of the service executives prioritize her instead. When I raised this concern, the staff member insisted the other customer arrived first, which was not true. Such arguments could have easily been avoided by checking the CCTV footage. While I appreciate the quality of the products and understand that the pricing aligns with it, the customer service experience was not acceptable. One of the two female service executives behaved quite rudely, which added to my dissatisfaction.
