I visited Kimling restaurant in Aundh after a lot of research on the best Chinese restaurants in the vicinity. In fact, my search for the best Chinese buffet restaurants in Pune for value for money still continues as Kimling only offers Ala carte options only. The vegetarian food quality was really authentic and the menu was quite enterprising with options - I also learnt the difference between Schezwan and Sichuan (they serve Sichuan delicacy). The restaurant ambience is good but It's a small/ cosy place with sittings at the ground & floor above. Do not assume it to be too large or lavish in terms of sitting from the online pictures available. Also, having an opportunity to try Chinese opt for options different from the usual to enjoy local delicacies truly for eg I tried the Veg Peking soup instead of the usual Manchow soup and was pleasantly surprised with better taste. Timely service is an area of opportunity along with the space to cater (people were understaffed and had to constantly move from the kitchen which is downstairs to customers sitting on the upper floor).
