As the name suggests , Vintage 7 possesses a truly Vintage ambience.
Want to know how?
The restaurant has different sections for different groups of people : Couple section, party section, rooftop , and family section.
The Vinatage interior is basically is a sum of antique watches, antique decoratives and yellow lights which give you a perfect dinner date kinda feeling.
My experience at Vintage 7 :
Mocktails :
Shirley Temple : One of the must have drinks this season. A perfect combination of strawberry and cooling mint will make up your mood and place you in your summer ready zone.
Blue Frog Cocktail : This whiskey based cocktail which is probably one of the most ordered drinks here by the whiskey lovers. It has a tangy yet cooling taste playing some games with your taste buds.
Cosmopolitian : Chefs Special , and rightly said! This is basically a Cosmo with a twist. This Cosmo gives you the after taste that of an orange.
Go Green : A mixture of pineapple and orange which is truly refreshing. It’s basically more of pineapple than orange (if that’s how it is supposed to be)
Appetizers :
Manjao Masti : In simple words, this is Paneer steak with a Chefs special sauce. I was completely drooling over this dish and for me – it is a must have. The picture below will actually make you confused as to if it really is Paneer. But it is , and this dish has done wonders.
BBQ Wings : I’m a huge fan of BBQ Wings and can never stop munching on them. As always , I had a pre-concepted mind about it – but it surely did fulfill the requirement of my tastebuds. It has a nice spicy mouth-watering taste , so don’t stop – keep ordering , keep eating!
Reshami Kebab : A traditional dish which is available almost everywhere in short words.
Mushroom Caps : Mushroom Caps are served with a thousand island dressing. So a thousand island dressing and mushrooms? Does it even go well together? – Well, it surely does! A huge recommendation from my end , even if you aren’t a mushroom lover.
Main Course :
Mutton masala : This is available in two types – Dry mutton / Main course with masala.
Made with authentic style of mutton masala will give you taste not less than a homemade mutton with those tasty spices added and as said in Marathi “chulivarcha mutton” style. Yummy!
Chicken handi : One of my favorites on the menu. Chicken made in this thick gravey is finger licking good. The taste of desi ghee is prominent in all the dishes.
All in all a Vintage experience with a modern touch.
What worked for me ? – The Chef was really friendly and he loves what he is doing. He loves experimenting and making new dishes out of scrap! What else do we want in life other than trying new amazing dishes!
VFM – 4.5/5
My Recommendations : Blue Frog Cocktail , Manjao Masti ,...

Food- We started with Chicken Nachos. Crunchy as always the cream topped chicken nachos were a delight. A beer and few nachos set the mood for the evening. Along came the Karari roti and Chicken lollipop. The kakari rooti was huge and had the chat toppings like a masala papad. Just crunchier and lighter. The Chicken lollipop were perfect. Served with Schezwan sauce they hardly disappoint. Another set of starters followed. In veg The Mushroom caps were the best. Mushrooms stuffed in batter with cheese tasted yum. I just felt it missed a little of spice. May be a Jalapenowould have done the trick. In mains we had the Lamb Bolognese. It’s practically Kheema with Spaghetti pasta. But the dish was the hero of the evening. Well cooked Lamb Kheeme and the Spaghetti with Olives tasted heavenly. It can be also called a version of Spaghetti Meatballs without the Kheema being rolled into Meatballs. Veg Shaslik sizzler had tones of barbeque sauce in it. Personally I love it. Veggy foodies… Go for it. The portion is good and so is the taste. Last but not the least the chicken burger. The patty was too big and undercooked inside. Plus it lacked uniform seasoning. The coleslaw was fantastic and overall the burger was average.
Ambiance and Service- The place is huge. It doesn’t seem like at 1st glance but the moment you enter inside the place keeps going and going and going. There are multiple rooms leading finally to more balcony seating. They also have a dedicated dance floor. The Bar is located just across the dance floor plus a nice view of the floor can be enjoyed from the balcony seating. They have done a beautiful job with the Vintage theme. They also have an old motorbike hanging over the entrance plus the window décor tinted in sepia colours gives the place a complete vintage experience. Service was fast as we were the only guest at the start. But the service remained swift till the end when the place had started filling up. The owner as well the hospitality manager are very soft spoken and receptive to feedback.
Overall- This place opens up at 7.30pm. Perfect time post long office hours. If you are a party and wanna take the party over to a new place… this is the place. If you are at Vintage 7 and wanna take the party for a spin. You could just change places within Vintage 7. They have excellent launch offers on draught beer. Plus the limited menu really help save time ordering providing only the essentials and regulars. Try it out at 7.30 or try it out at 2am. Vintage is a place to be post...
