"A Culinary Adventure at Historic Kohinoor
Tucked away in the bustling Camp area of Pune, Kohinoor.. Despite the lively atmosphere, my friend and I managed to savor a delectable breakfast spread on our recent visit. The classic bun maska chai was a highlight, with its perfectly balanced blend of buttery toasted bread and strong, milky tea. The savory bun omelette, a popular Indian breakfast option, was another delight. The addition of a crispy samosa, with its satisfying textural contrast, added depth to our meal. We rounded off our culinary adventure with a slice of sweet plum cake, the perfect conclusion to our exploration of Kohinoor's menu.
While Kohinoor Restaurant itself may not be a historic landmark, its location in the heart of Pune's historic Camp area makes it a special experience. The area is steeped in Maratha history, with remnants of the Peshwa era evident in its architecture. So, as we enjoyed our contemporary breakfast, we were surrounded by the spirit of Pune's...

Read moreTypical Irani/Parsi restaurant at the corner of M.G. Road, Camp, Pune. Usual products like Omelet, Half Fry, Burji, Bun Muska, Bread Butter and few Bakery items.
Usually crowded by locals with great vibe. I appreciate staff who are super efficient and quick in service.
I ordered Burji, which looked spicy but was not. But good in quantity and taste. Bun was spongy and sweet. Better than other similar restaurants. Omelet was also big in size, good but with less mirchi and masala in it. No much choice in cold beverages.
Their bakery products kept in the shelf of billing counter may not be always fresh. Restaurant is also not into Samosas much.
You get space for two wheeler parking somewhere on road. Four Wheeler parking is an issue provided it is paid parked on M.G. Road.
Overall good experience and a restaurant is for...
