New Poona Cold drink house, this place has been serving delicious ice cream, basundi falooda's since many years and is one of my favorite places in Camp to have a late night falooda :) Easy to spot on famous M.G. Road and popular among many of the locals so you can find the address very easily. Nothing much to speak about ambiance as this is just a simple place which serves you delicious food. Most of the times it's full and hard to get a table but one can always have a nice ice cream while standing outside too. Service is quick, but staff is bit arrogant.

They do serve some delicious falooda's. I never try anything else here. Most famous dish is ice cream falooda, it has everything including ice cream, basundi, shevya (thin noodles) and liquid rose jelly on the top. Pistachio ice cream with authentic thick basundi is heavenly and filling. It will excite your taste buds like nothing and if you have sweet tooth like me, you won't stop with 1 dish. They alsot fri have good option of basundi falooda without ice cream which tastes like thick shake and I loved that too. Royal falooda is another option which they serve in a glass instead of a bowl.

Overall, this place is amazing for falooda lovers and you won't get anything like this in Pune. Its pocket friendly too. Do try this. Highly...

I recently visited New Poona cold drink House in Camp, Pune, and tried their Chocolate Falooda, priced at ₹120. Faluda of Poona cold drink is favourite destination in the area.if looking forward for dessert and bore with icecream try normal faluda for RS 80 and for more hungry for dessert try Royal Faluda. The normal faluda is with pista ice-cream or with kulfi ..that depend on the taste. I suggest you try with ice-cream. The other option is lassi, icecream and other dessert variety. They also sell diary product.the shop owner is decent ..every season such shop is full of dessert lover. And faluda is their seller point. Must try and also with family. The sitting arrangement is first come find place to sit..the taste haven't change since my childhood...they also have parcel counter or pick up counter of faluda for which one has to pay RS. 10 extra.. do try...
