Shahji's Parantha House(Apte road) — Restaurant in Pune

If I have to describe my experience in minimum words to say maximum, I would say, " JUST TRY IT!" It was my 60th birthday that my husband wanted to celebrate with ours friends and family. Having eaten there long ago, he insisted that we would celebrate it at Shahaji's Paratha on Apte Raod , Pune. And his decision was 100% correct. Mr. Nimer, the floor manager was so cooperative in every aspect that he helped us right from charting out the menu to suggesting what combinations would go better. Every item he served was perfect. And all the items were served in a perfect manner too. His entire team was very attentive, proactive and hospitable. We were 24 of us and no one had to wait for anything. They were literally fulfilling our every wish! The food was fresh, flavourful yet not over powered with masalas which was my requirement we all being seniors. Every dish had its unique taste which was retained carefully by the chef. Every item was served hot! The ambience was great! The toilets were spotless. In search of some Desi food landed up second time at this place, first time was a bit disappointed with the rush and unavailability of table on a Saturday night. Located at the centre of the city on apte road the place is a treat for all paratha lovers,unlike all other paratha joints this is quite spacious and offers a good ambience,the restaurant has it's own parking space which adds up a point 😉 being in the area No starters today although they have options to offer but our focus was completely on the thali, having read and seen the pics before going we thought the qty would be quite huge so directly order The Shahji's special paratha thali, laccha paratha thali and tadke kande ka paratha and to go with it some lota chach The Shahji's special thali was quite sufficient for a normal foodie with good appetite it consists of 2-3 parathas with rajma ,dahi pakoda,paneer, papad and a sweet and a cup of curd ,laccha paratha thali was without the curd and sweet rest everything was same off course with difference in parathas 😋... Extremely Disappointed with Service – Anniversary Celebration Ruined

We were a group of over 20 people celebrating an anniversary at this hotel. As part of the celebration, we had brought our own 1 kg cake and handed it to the staff to keep in their refrigerator until after dinner.

After dinner, when we requested the cake, there was an unusual delay of around 15 minutes. I eventually went to the kitchen to check, and to my shock, I saw multiple staff members trying to do something to our cake. When I asked what was going on, they admitted that someone had placed milk packets on our cake, damaging it, and that they were “fixing” it before serving.

This is completely unacceptable — not only was our cake mishandled and stored carelessly, but the fact that they attempted to “fix” a damaged cake without informing us beforehand is appalling. It spoiled the mood of our celebration and left us with a terrible experience.

This level of negligence and lack of professionalism is shocking for any hospitality establishment. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for reliable and...
