Ramee Grand Hotel and Spa, Pune — Hotel in Pune

The Location- 5/5; Rooms- 5/5; Housekeeping- 5/5; Room service-5/5; Breakfast restaurant food and service 3/5; This Hotel has the best location if you want to walk around to many famous restaurants. Even places for sightseeing are not far away. The Check in and check out procedure was extremely smooth and quick. Tenzin and her team were extremely prompt. Avinash the bell boy was always there to carry our luggage during check in and check out. We always saw him working tirelessly. Aditya from Housekeeping cleaned our room in a spic and span way. Nice to walk into a fresh room. We stayed in room 311 from 1-4 March 2024. The Grand Room size was really good and has all the amenities. The only disappointing thing was Breakfast restaurant .The food was quite below standard. We were asked on the first day of our feedback and we did say that food needs to be warm atleast if not hot. The live counter was good and only enjoyed that part. The Biggest disappointment in the Breakfast restaurant was the staff member Ms Simran. A totally useless lazy person. She was only escaping work. We asked for ice as we wanted cold water. She goes in and comes only after 15 min with a small glass of ice. The shocker was that she had no interest in serving anyone. I kept observing her and she was busy hovering near the toaster. First made 2 toast, Then took a round and applied butter and sprinkled some sugar on it. She was acting like she was preparing something for a guest. I was shocked when she very smoothly made a sandwich and covered it with a bunch of tissues and sneakily took it inside with her. I dont think the hotel allows staff to pick food from buffet and eat during duty hours . She hardly did any work whenever I saw her. Thanks to the few tiny young girls who were serving us so well while the senior was feasting her way. Besides this the entire staff was very helpful I would surely like to visit...

Great hotel with beautiful ambiance. The concierge team have been exceptional. Vrushabh and Tenzin who we dealt with were impeccable at service delivery. Vrushabh went over and above, and was a star performer for us. Kudos to him. Housekeeping staff have been excellent and topped up room daily and kept our room very clean and tidy. They were impressive. Buffet was fabulous. The staff were amazing Pooja, Vimal , Vishal & Kedar just to name a few who offered us service. Chefs have been outstanding, providing us with lipsmacking food for breakfast each day. The icing on the cake was Avinash helping us get an Ola ride to the airport. We were very delighted to have booked with Ramee, and would highly recommend this Hotel. Would definately book again on our next visit to Pune.Overall a pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious and well ventilated; Sleep infrastructure (mattresses, linens, covers, styles) are high quality, bathrooms include satisfying "rainfall" shower-head, staff are attentive and efficient, there is an easily operated safe in the room for your valuables, and the location is central to Deccan Gymkhana shopping areas. Breakfast inclusive reservations are well worth it as the first meal of the day is high quality and includes a wide range of items. The food is so good, it would be good to include a weighing scale in the room (for the weight conscious). The only minor shortcoming was the lack of an iron and ironing board in the room.
